    In this video I show you how to add bi directional remote start to your 12th gen F150. this is a upgrade from the factory remote start. the two way remote start will let you know the vehicle has started with two beeps and a two flashing lights. after that it will continue to flash the light letting you know that it has fired up and is running still. this also is suppose to greatly improve the range for the remote start as well. i also added a flip key for the truck which is also a nice little upgrade. but ill leave all the parts you need to order in the tools and parts section. parts included in the kit: Kit Includes:
    DL3Z-15603-C

    DA8Z-15603-A .
    you will also need the security system sold separately (PN: DL3Z-19A361-A). If you enjoyed the video please leave a like, comment, share and subscribe. Thanks!

    Great videos for the F150. I have the 2014 5.0 as well. I live in Canada and could use this for those cold winter mornings lol. I look forward to learning about other work you have done on it! Btw the link for DL3Z-19A361-A is broken

    If my truck already has the factory security system. How do install the two way remote?

    • @JunkyardJunkie
      @JunkyardJunkie  Před 7 měsíci

      Then you should be able to plug the antenna in to your security system (it’ll look like the one in the video). Then just follow the rest of the steps. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching!

    So my 14 has the security system, hood switch. If i buy this kit, will i have to have the dealer enable remote start for it to work?

      You can have the dealer enable it. If they try charging you a lot you can always enable it with forscan too. Which can be done cheap. I used my Autel scan tool in my other remote start video to enable it. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching!
