    About DeepGame Basketball by Coach Taylor Allan:
    We teach players how to master the part of basketball that is played with the mind, through learning, practicing, and executing the 8 Laws of the Deep Game:
    Law #1:
    The Law of Presence
    Performance increases as thought decreases.
    Law #2:
    The Law of Reverse Effort
    The harder you try to play well, the more difficult the game becomes.
    Law #3:
    The Law of Extremes
    As emotion increases, consistency decreases.
    Law #4:
    The Law of Transformation
    The player who seeks growth advances faster than the player who seeks accomplishment.
    Law #5:
    The Law of Identity
    The player you believe yourself to be is the player you will see.
    Law #6:
    The Law of Magnetism
    The game comes to the player who does not try to pull the game towards himself.
    Law #7:
    The Law of Mastery
    The game rewards the player who needs no reward other than the game itself.
    Law #8:
    The Law of Transcendence
    Basketball is not life; it is a teacher of life.

    I can't wait to play again, so I can use everything you teach. You are basically explaining our character (including mine), so we all can learn more. Thank you.

    You should try making a tiktok on where you tell your stories like the time you had the oportunity to play varsity as a freshman or when you were training from 9 to 5 and a pro player showed up or also the time when your teammate was a very good shooter and decided to change his form completely, this account would be very good!

    In stoicism this is called Negative Visualization, it's basically imagining the worst case scenario and realizing you're strong enough to deal with it

      Yes! Good to come across a fellow stoic on a basketball video like this one.

    Can I get your opinion on something: if your really trying to study the game (watching how other players proform, or just watching technique) would you rather recommend watching college basketball or NBA

    • @DeepGameBasketball
      @DeepGameBasketball  Před 3 lety

      There's reasons for watching both; I wouldn't exclude one or the other.

    if you really want something but the actions you take aren’t reflective of how much you want it how do you change your mindset to work without being lazy

    • @DeepGameBasketball
      @DeepGameBasketball  Před 3 lety +6

      My first question would be: why do you want it so much if you don't enjoy working towards it in the first place?
      If it's just a temporary lapse of motivation, then definitely just get your discipline up and do it anyway. If it's a loss of love you used to have for the game, that's something you can work on. I would check out this video we posted on that subject: czcams.com/video/CVFkqjPw2Fg/video.html

      Alright then getting into a nba academy or some sports college may prove to be a bit tough now. So try and play some high level national level games or perform extraordinarily in the college games and you may end up getting a scholarship indeed. You can also try for the services team . Maybe we'll become teammates there. Who knows. All the best.
