Except Mark Twain was a creative writer and novelist. George Carlin never wrote any prose fiction. He wrote books but none of them were novels. As much as I respect Carlin, I don't think Mark Twain ever came across as radical or angry as Carlin often did. People sometimes say that Carlin was the Mark Twain of our time, but I disagree.
