So you have to use your hands and touch all that l, I was under the assumption that you just stick the mop and it sticks but you literally putting on a baby wipe on a naked broom

That is the incorrect pad for the wet jet you are demonstrating. The one you are using in the video has the extra cloth to TUCK into the holes on the 'just a sweeper'. The correct product does NOT have the extra dangling clothe edges and connects via velcro and has a colored strip which is the same color as the mop. The way you have it in this video the pad edges will cover the jet holes which spray fluid. The box you hold in the beginning say for sweeper and does NOT say for wet jet.
