If you take anything away from watching The Big Dan Show, it has to be 1) #intoodeep 2) Just because you can afford it, doesn’t mean you can operate it!
If those people with the big expensive boat, the boat dealer should include a course on boating education and how to prevent boating stupidity.
Weekend Captains. I lost my wife to pancreatic cancer 3 years ago. When I thought of all the kind things she did and how much I deepened on her, it breaks my heart to see men yelling at their wives for their own mistakes. First time viewer.
I honestly never knew watching clueless people beat the crap out of expensive boats could be so entertaining.
I know nothing about boats or boating but this is deeply entertaining. If it wasn't a hundred and fifty million degrees outside I would would totally go to my local ramp and watch this kind of thing all day.
It’s amazing how many people have the trailer or boat in the right position and then mess it up by going deeper with the trailer or backing the boat off the trailer after that was in a pretty good spot.
If your trailer fenders are underwater, chances are, your to damn deep😂😂😂 i swear could make a living launching and retrieving yuppies boats for them
Twin 300’s needs to line up strait- would help. Peeps want to attack the bunks coming in sideways. 🤦♂️. Let’s make it harder than it has to be. 😂
I like your show and Alfred’s. You’re at a respectable distance. Some others are right in the boaters space wondering why arguing every show🤣
@@TheBigDanShow not worth the aggravation and as a viewer it’s annoying Watching bickering
Yeah, the drivers in the vehicle just don't concentrate on the boat ramp and watch out for hand signals. Always # in too deep.😂😂😂
Lol
Imagine the show if they didn't have risers on the trailer to tell them they're nearly loaded right
@@TheBigDanShow guide poles are extremely rare where I am in North Queensland, Australia. most people here can actually drive their boats onto their trailer reasonably well. we also have a lot more trailers with multi roller setups rather than bunks.
Biggest problem I see, (maybe it's unique to salt water boats/trailers) is people seem to think that the tall guide posts are for centering the boat on the trailer. The shape of the boat bottom sliding up the bunks is what centers the boat and lines it up for the bow stop.
Why doesn’t DNR patrol that area and put the hammer down on the boaters flying through the No wake zone?
0:04 -- now I see why you hang out at those boat ramps . . .
Not to mention 0:06 - 0:07.
Of all the things our government does. They need to post a sign at the boat ramp. That shows where your trailer should be when launching and returning. By the looks of it at least 80% need it . And it might help 40% .
My twin brother used to have a small cabin cruiser type of boat, with a trailer and a Dualie pickup truck. He would practice in the off season with launch and retrieval, got it mastered.
He would sometimes take me with him on his weekend trips to either Balboa Island or to Catalina Island, when we lived in California.
He thinks if it doesn’t go on trailer right he needs to back the trailer to the boat😂😂😂😂
'thats centered' Ha Ha
I think you need to post a sign up saying lesson on how to load a boat on a trailer for 25 bucks per boat. You will make a fortune at that ramp.
I believe you need more cameras. 10 loading slots you need 11 cameras. One for each dock and one for your hand. You will understand when you miss the million dollar shot.
Fact!
Shit happens when you are in too deep with your trailer so you better hope your car floats as well.
I feel like one day there will be a driving test for boats
Maybe some day soon
Dan, looking forward to a tour of your boat, brother!
I know it's a float on trailer however..... 🤣🤣🤣
I've gone to deep myself but one usually figures it out quickly. At least I did.
I love you videos keep up the good work. And I love that part it's in 2 Deep.😊
Phil Collins said it before "You know I want to, but I'm in too deep" lol. also mad props to the girl in the green, her crew didn't.
😋🤪👍👍
We need to see a video of you loading your boat! 😀
I’ve posted in a film before
Thanks Big Dan for showing all of us what not to do😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
💪💪💪
Joystick control or not, when you're in too deep, you're in too deep...
Facts!
Man, he's got the trailer to far in the water !
Great video ! Yours are always good ! Stay safe
Big D at the ramp! wow, I'm having a deja vu.
There must be a more FOOLproof way 😅
Caution, this trailer has no brain, please bring your own.
She asked for more depth than she could handle
always figured u for a bammer, still love it tho keep up the good work!
For my boats I always put the top of the trailer fenders at the top of or just out of the water. That’s usually the proper depth.
Man, that was a whole bunch of fustercluckin!! But I really wanted to see more of the stern end of that split tail speedster in yellow at 0:03, I bet that's fun in rough seas!
You're my hero, Big Dan!! You got my sub and I don't just give those out all willy nilly! @@TheBigDanShow
Hahaha trying to put it in the bed 😅had me rolling
Maybe the guy with the twin 300’s should hire someone to trailer his vessel. He damn sure don’t know how
Love your videos big Dan
I love it when people have more money than smarts. See I keep it simple, I have exactly as much money as smarts, and I’m broke!
👌👌
The struggle is real…
19:44 Nice!
Hey Dan, what’s the purpose of that joystick control of those twin outboards if the driver has the props going like all get-out in opposite directions?
Sends a signal to the computer to power the boat to the starboard or port side without manually having to move the helm or the throttle controls
JEALOUSY WILL GET YOU NO WHERE, (joystick control )
Lol
Wowzer Dan, what a cool video! How long were you there to be able to capture all those great clips? Loving your (new?) editing additions too, see ya next time! 🚤🛥️🚤
@@TheBigDanShowYay! Will do! 👍
It is unnerving to see the mentality of these people just simply loading and unloading
Hahaaa
These folks sure do believe in backing the trailers in too much
Lol it’s the gospel
Omgggg!!! INTOODEEP!!!!! good googly moogly
Very nice boat.
It sure is!
That joystick control system is seeet
I'll say this about all the fancy technology and can't get boat on trailer. As I get older all that tech makes it a lot more enjoyable and relaxing. Cant buy experience somethings are just learned trail and error. At least when he gets it figured out he's got a sweet rig to enjoy them older years in.
that girl in the green used to work at a muffler shop!
#intoodeep another good video 👍
this is a stupid question, but do trailers float and salt water we live on a freshwater lake we’ve never seen one float
Not always. Just occasionally. A light. Tube welded sealed trailer
Like the vids. Seems there shoild be a no wake zone marker in that channel. Pretty long stretch without one.
maybe i have a silly questions. but here in Germany you dont see that. What are these rolled up plastic mats that are transported on boats? What do people do with them? thanks
Where are you at in Orange beach Al
Watch a lot of different boat ramp vids. Some location everyone is trying to load boat by hand not under power. The trailers ate. Ot deep enough for that. Then others trying to drive boat onto trailer. Then trailer is in too deep. Lol. It is why i have a place on lake and go out mid week. Leave the weekends to the tourists. Lol.
All these people could just get a bumper dock it solves many of the issues of loading your boat bumper dock that’s what you need to change loading experience forever you’ll never go back the bumper dock
It’s there’s 100 ways to do it and most pick what’s not right for them.
If the cops would sit there, is there anything like a ticket or something they could do when they make wake in a no wake zone?
They can cite them for speeding and/or excessive wake, and negligent operation if they really wanna nail the operator.
Maybe a # should be coined when you go beyond in to deep because it's apparently possible 😂
Do ya not understand the physics of gliding up the trailer bunks? And folks in the water trying to manhandle their rig onto the trailer. Asking to get hurt 😐
we sure do it different in Ontario.
Of the winch. Infact, it should be someone that knows boating
I'm not familiar with this ramp. But why are all the trailers so deep?!
Junkies lol
I've never seen so many people that back their empty trailer in way too deep to try to recover the boat!!??!! Obviously nobody taught them anything nor did they learn !!
Everyone is TOO DEEP, FFSake. Leave ur trailer fenders above the waterline a tad and POWER TF ON.
I just took the safety course, I thought it said never drive the boat with power on to the ramp,?
i cant see the guy with the joystick boat struggling, im too busy looking at his wife
Most of all people who are having trouble are in to DEEP
👍
Don’t y’all have police patrolling that no wake zone area? Some of those big boats have gone past the ticket speed and into the ass whoopin speed.
For some reason, I don’t think they care.
@13:20 buy another camera so you can split the difference and hopefully get the shots you might have missed.
Why don't American boat trailers have roller guides like the ones in NZ and Australia? It's easier to roll the boat on the trailer
they learn one day about going to deep..lol
Big Dan, ever heard you sound like Boomhauer?
You’re missing the boat if you don’t get some “In Too Deep” t-shirts made up.
Just drop ship them brother. You'll need a boat for all the cash.
You had alot in this video. Multiple tries on loading, hitting the dock and #intodeep #nowakezone.
I don’t know what I missed. Not the 👙
🤣🤣🤣
they weren't intodeep, they just didn't want the carpet on the bunks to scuff the gelcoat
Like a gambler betting his car keys... #intoodeep
This is one of the reasons I sold my boat. Constantly dealing with idiots that don’t know how to trailer a boat. Then dealing with these same dumbasses on the open water who don’t know how to navigate waterways, speeding in No Wake Zones, absolute disregard for people on tubes. My daughter was almost run over by a guy. If I could have have got her back on board and run that guy down, I would have beat his ass. It was just more than I wanted to deal with.
He should have twin 450's
Why do folks wanna float their trailers? 😳
What does it mean when she says its in too deep? You're a better man then me, I've never heard that.
lol@@TheBigDanShow
The crown line is beautiful but need lessons how to steer
The easy way is to get that boat on to the trailer is to get the boat tied to the dock a little ways back. Put that trailer in the water close to the dock and just deep enough to float the boat on. Walk the boat right up on the trailer then winch it up snug. Pull the boat slowly out of the water so it has a chance to settle the way the trailer wants it. And your on your way!!! Yes, I am a professional boater of 35 years.
You see the too deep in the water trailer all the time. Someone should come up with an idiot proof invention for that. Little side marker depth pole or something.
hate how people (usually the women) give hand signals to driver backing trailer like they dont know where or what they are doing. 🤔
😂😂
So there is a system to maneuver the engines independently, but you still need to practice and understand the variables? ;-)
Why isn't there Police to catch the boats making wakes?
Because, if Police were around there wouldn't be boats making wakes, but the cost to taxpayers for officers just standing around isn't cheap (classic catch 22).
You can perform hundreds of perfect boat recoveries (not even close), but it's that one time that it doesn't go right, there's someone with a camera.
"The boat's floating pretty good", that's the problem. ;-D
There is nothing, nada, zero, zip, nor zilch like being beat down by the wind/waves while being mercilessly CooK'd by the Sun just to attempt getting your
expensive sH!T on a trailer & Outta the Lot....... that's just TOO much to ask so "BD" shows us the fallout. While I sit in the cool air & laugh peace
I don't understand these people rippin through the no wake zone. Its like they're in their own little world.
Seems like they need to start doin some random bits of enforcing it.
This is hard to watch !! 🤦♂️😂
The guy with the joy sticks, his trailer is in too deep just like everyone else! You want the bunks to be just barely out of the water dependent upon how the steep the ramp is. The steeper the ramp more bunks showing out of the water. It is amazing how many people own boats buy do not know how to operate them properly. Hey Dan how is. That new vacuum working g for you? 😁🛫
Everyone has their trailers wat too deep.
Riveting
Embarrassing. Big dollar boats and rigs but penny’s in the common sense department. Know thy boat and learn how to launch and retrieve. Don’t float thy trailer!
Five minutes in and nothing. Learn how to edit, Bro.
Haaaaa. You think it’s non stop action bud. Gotta build up to the goods….
The way these ppl load boats makes you wonder how some of them are still alive due to the stupid crap they do
this is way these people should have paid attention in math class Algebra
Don't put a woman in charge or the winch, when pulling the boat out.
👌👌
