Should've just loaded that boat in the bed of the truck and forgot about the trailer, truck was deep enough.
"More power" may always work on Star Trek, but on Earth it just fucks up your boat. 😂
Nice intro keeps getting better every week. Yep them Miami guys are ok but can't beat the #intodeep footage 😅
Now Brother that was a good show. Lots of nice behind the scene shots. and them two guys trying to get the boat unstuck from the trailer was just to funny.
There were two great ones for sure.
Clueless!!
I read that guys hand signals and he said make my burger flip over easy w/cheese and mustard, I'll be there to eat it soon. Some of those small bottom pond dwellers looking mighty fine too.
THIS, is why I stay a million miles away from public ramps, especially on weekends.
I was lucky to be part of a crack team from a local marina, and we could have boats on or off a trailer in less than 2 minutes.
People actually used to clap when we worked our magic, and currents/winds almost never caused an issue (almost! 😂).
ALWAYS face your bow into the wind/currents, and sail a slight arch into your trailer.
Attempting to load straight onto your trailer on anything other than a perfectly calm day, gets you your 15 minutes of fame on CZcams.
DON’T practice you trailer backing skills on the ramp. Practice ANYWHERE other than the public boat ramp on a busy day.
Before our boss let us represent his name (it was on all our trucks) he made us practice in the back lot, doing figure 8’s in each direction, without stopping to make a correction.
We had to be able to do it in our sleep.
These videos have me laughing so hard sometimes, the tears are running down my leg! 😂
yepper, as someone who had a 14 runabout i had no problems backing in or loading, some people are just not smart enough to do this stuff,
Oh Dan, what a great upload, thanks! I was just watching with my chin on the floor, what the …. 😳🤪. Had a really tough day at work today and finished super late. I was eating my supper and watching your vid and I felt the aches & pains drift right away with the crazy boat ramp antics! Loving your new logo and intro too. Have a great weekend to you all.
Love watching your vlogs. I'll never make it down your way but watching your vlogs makes me feel like I'm right there. Sending ❤️ light and blessings from kingston Ontario Canada 🇨🇦 xoxoxo 🇨🇦
Great video. Lots of clueless boaters, doing mind boggling things.
The clip with the charcoal 200HP robalo center console was amazing. Cant remember the last time i saw two such clueless men on a boat together.
Lol thanks
love to see the damage under the keel from that guide pole after he used all 200 ponies to drag it off!
So annoying. He could have looked at the other guide pole, and seen exactly where he was. (Of course, hammering the throttle to get him there indicates unadulterated genius.)
Great video Dan appreciate the videos you make time and effort you put into a big shout out. Thank you to you we have the same situation at our boat ramp I’ve been on the water over 30 years and it just never seems to amaze me what you see and how they get it done luck is definitely on their side and now I know why they make slow Mo fantastic
That was great!!!! LOL just a little customizing of his truck, boat and trailer....
GEE, I always thought that the poles were there to guide you, not to aim for and then snap them off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Nah silly, that is why they are made of PVC.
B.D. thanks for the video. One of my favorite pastimes is watching people whether it's one of your videos or the Wal - Mart parking lot. It's entertaining.
Watching your video, it's astounding how some people have a boat and trailer but don't have a clue on how to back the trailer up. I'm not an expert but I swear I could do better than some.
Thanks again.
Thanks for hanging out my friend
Credit cards captains, definitely make for great entertainment.
Huge reason, along with alcohol, as to why I stay off the water on weekends. 😂😂
I know righttt
Good thing Pontoon guy didn't have a 300Hp+ engine, probably would've ripped the chain and bolts right out. Bet you'll have plenty of good footage material after Labor Day (a day when I avoid the boat launch, don't want to launch my boat in that circus)!
This is chock full of the NEW COMMON CORE "SENSE" of this world. LOL
Thank you. Wonder what kind of a gouge he put in the bottom of that hull? God Bless and stay safe.
Sweet edits and beat matches!!!
Appreciate it!
Just subscribed love the content! Pure entertainment 😅
Why do so few boaters have dock lines? A line up front and one at the back would allow some control when wind or tide is pushing them off line. Better still get a trailer with a set of rollers on a swinging frame like we have in the UK. You only need to get the bow lined up in the cradle and then winch it on as it self-centralises. But of course, it's much more entertaining the way you guys do it. 🤣
I think the rollers rust extremely easy in this saltwater. I don’t know though.
Those two guys with the white sea hunt must have been ex military. The speed and precision with which that boat was loaded and hauled out was impressive.
what military have to do with loading a boat, its just common sense, i load and unload my boat by myself in minutes, its so easy its not even funny, but i have been doing it a long time and my father taught me how when i was little.
@@goodbyemr.anderson5065 I guess you dont realize how amusing your comments are within the context of videos like this.
@@deksea When your good at stuff youre just good at it, sorry, not sorry.
18:39 "When in doubt, power out"!
The amount of F series platinum trucks is astounding. Folks got money around these parts apparently. Best I can do is a Lariat and I’m tapped.
Your videos are the best , you don't talk about other stuff like the other guys
Thanks I appreciate it.
Oh yeah😂😂😂
Just subscribed to your channel it’s informative and I enjoy watching thanks.
Thank you
Hi Dan, Great show again ! (of course) That lady liked you so much she took several shots of you ! Captain Keith Tight lines.
I think i will just hang out there more often and offer my services for a small fee lol Just WOW 😳 *Will back Boat in or pull it out for $10 🤘
Top of the trailer fenders just in the water will be just the right depth.
This stuff is funny / nuts. Makes we want to buy another boat, leave the drain plug out when launching, park the van and trailer oh so casually when I hear the pre teen daughters yell "daddy, the boat is filling up with water". I resolved the problem immediately and told them to jump in the boat and we would help the pump drain the water by trying to get up to enough speed to drain the water. LOL. Fortunately it worked out - Daddy wasn't too bright!
Good show!
I don't own a boat but thanks to Dan, I know that if I get one, I can load and unload it like a pro.
Do they think that a boat that is floating on top of the water is going to magically attach itself to to the trailer that 3 feet below it on the ramp? These people don't deserve to own a boat.
New technique from Michigan, winch the trailer up to the boat.
They need more than help with that boat and truck. Need a body shop and you need to open big Dan boat trailer services. 😂
9:05-9:30 that’s me. Showing y’all how it’s done
I used to haul a 20 ft. sailboat to the marina, raise the mast alone, power away from the dock, then sail out the 2 mile channel. No problem. At 65.
Unbelievable. All they had to do was scoot the bow over towards the dock and then push the stern off the pole. Of course they never should’ve been in that situation in the first place.
I was hoping he would hit the truck again trying to get unstuck.
You know you got a problem on the ramp when your boat is tries to overtake your truck.
@@rossevans1774 I mean, if it isn’t your very first time loading, you have no excuse for no knowing how far to back in to begin with. Even so, my very fist time, I looked like a pro compared to most of these people.
Clown day at the boat ramp.
Indeed!
Thanks for doing these videos i would do this myself but don't have the temper or patience for something so instructional
Glad to help!
Alabama boat trailer manufacturers need to put some type of device that hooks to the trailer and vehicle that beeps when the bunks are at perfect depth.
Always interesting
Good action 👍
Everyone needs to learn what bare steerageway is - this is the speed that you need to approach your trailer.
I just dont understand how people dont realize the bunks have to be high enough out of the water to guide your boat on straight. That is what they do. Come on people. Is common sense.
Oh well,call the fire department..
@13:00, dang that top rail is in the way
Just another thought - all these people ‘have’ to get into the water to pick their boats up…what happens during the winter time when it gets a little cool they don’t use their boats???😂😂
People that take their half down the middle at the boat ramp are the worst. 😒🤬🤬
Lol
The biggest issue next to backing up a trailer is they sink their trailers into the water wayyyy to far, you want to see some of the bunks sticking out.
If i did my one person method i wonder if id get laughed at? 16' aluminum runabout with trailer that has guide posts
Step 1 pull up tie to pole, raise motor
Step 2 go get truck
Step3 back trailer up like a pro but in a lil deep up untill my first roller closest to winch is just above water surface (works easier for my method)
Step4 untie boat while holding bow line
Step5 pull boat onto trailer up to bow stop while centering bow on roller while pulling rope and because trailer is deep but roller is at surface its very easy to pull up to bow stop & the back of boat gets centered by guide poles as i pull out
Step6 hook up winch and safety chain
Step7 pull out
Step8 get out of the way then add transom straps
Bingo! ^^
Some people don't deserve a boat! Lol
can you explain to me why no one unplugs their trailer lights before backing into the water? was taught that was the proper procedure.
Not here I guess
Man, those two guys couldn’t fight their way out of a paper bag!! A wet one at that!
Should have told that guy here's your sign. Lol.
Clowns to the left of me, jokers to the right...
13:39 The Big Mitch McConnell Show!
Dayum....
Just dayum
🤪
Shame on the whole damn mess. Lol, looks like that bolt on goddess at 2:38 was getting some air on the money maker, probably overheated from too much use while hubby watched. But the brother and sister at 12:54 was heartwarming, what teamwork! I bet daddy's proud. Do they hand out red noses and oversize shoes at the ramps?
Them: I bought a boat...
Me: Did you take a boaters safety course?
Them: I bought a boat...
Lol
Hi dan love your videos
Thanks Krysta! We’re excited for so much more great content this year!
Can't believe how many people are clueless. Also, get everyone off the boat at the dock before you put it on the trailer!
12:56
Remember, 99% of all problems are the result of being in too deep. Safe boating!
Yesss!
20:53 Now you have the tail wagging the dog!
#intoodeep seems to be the common theme here. Good video.
The best part of this vlog is the half naked, OK make that 98% naked women. Lol 😅😅
Keep up the good work!!! 😂😂
💪💪💪
Drive on trailers are available, lol
2:30 i fully agree get rid of Bimini tops...pointless most of the time anyway...not worth the 1square foot of shade that actually hits the boat in the corner. Plus on smaller boats they make fishing a pain absolutely not worth it.
While where at it bikini tops can also be taken off .....😂
Bingo! 🤙
Why are so many determined to float that boat on to the trailer? Don't they watch the Big Dan Show?
Scared they’ll see themselves
I will never understand why people love to submerge the whole trailer like it doesn’t need to be that far in
I believe someone could make some $$$ being a Valet and putting boats on trailers ??? Just for the "ROOKIES" !!!
These people need to go through mandatory boat loading classes before being allowed at a boat ramp
Nothing more frustrating than being behind people that only load/unload 2-3 times a year.
No doubt about it
Isn’t there some old joke from the late ‘70s about “C’mon back, C’mon Back. In deeper, In deeper”.
@13:40 should be called "welcome to the big 💩 show"
You seem to have found a cool balance between humor, education and WTF?!..LOL.. Good show, unlike others doing the same.
Tie up the boat pull trailer out and calm down and try to understand what is wrong then correct it then you have learned that why we are supposed to be at the top of the food chain
Lol
That one at the 14 mark was hard to watch.
Haha good times
and this is why we cant have nice things lol
Know your trailer and how far you need to back it down for boat trailering. If the back of your boat is floating from side to side then you backed the trailer too far down and will hardly get it on track and lined up. 💯
👌👌
Them Miami boys ain’t got anything on the Big Dan Show!
Miami guy runs his uneducated/non-boat owners? mouth TOO DAMN much!!!!
How in the he'll dose a trailer float ? I have been putting boats and trailer in the water for 43 years never had a trailed float
Solid weld tubing. Sometimes aluminum
I think if he backs up another 15 feet the boat will float back over the pole.
😂😂😂😂🫠🫠🫠
I wonder if he gouged the hell out of the bottom of the boat
Truck driver here from 13:37 we were hoping to forget about this one 😂
Hey Dan, come by the house the next time you're over this way and check out my boat. 23' Sport Cat catamaran.
🤙
Its so hard cuz people pull there trailers in to dam far
👌👌👌
Another great video Dan and Scenery is might fine too! 😁🛫
@@TheBigDanShow Thank you for taking the time to respond to your followers.
News flash iff you can’t see the top of your trailer fenders your to deep
Hire a scuba diver to hook the front winch it will go
Ive seen a man at a boat ramp do the same thing multiple times, what don't they understand about a floating trailer
Your NOT Deep enough if you can still see out your rear window. (Wipers Engaged).
there is some clowns around there...lol
Nice intro chief!
Nice zooms too :).
I always had an electric winch and rollers on my trailer, not bunks
Must be in fresh water?
Water to the top of the fenders. How hard is that to figure out???
Apparently hard lol
@@TheBigDanShow at least you benefit from it 🙂
My favorite launch here in Michigan never has anything exciting. Guess that's a good thing.
I was hoping to see how jacked up that guys trailer was after he pulled out.
I don't understand why these people pull down the middle of the boat ramp, they must not realize that the docks are there to tie up to then get your trailer and walk the boat up. Power loading is against the law here in Michigan. It tears up the ramp area...
We always dock, then walk the boat with ropes to the trailer along the dock.. That's the way we always do it. I don't trust running up on trailer. But that's my opinion.
👌
12:35 That's awesome!! "The Big Dan Show. You can see it all". Pan over to girl in black bikini!! Love it.
