Fred Ramonda has spent over a year designing this model with a patent pending as of November 2023 and has many advantages over conventional belt driven pressure washers.
To begin, the poly chain timing belt can be changed quickly and with ease as indicated by this video. The other advantage of this machine is the way the pump is supported. There is less vibration on this machine than any pressure washer in the market today, which will increase the longevity of the components on the machine. The entire frame is fabricated at our Kemah fab shop.
A large advantage of this build is that the alignment of the belts is perfect and you will have no issues with angular misalignment causing the poly chain to wear out unevenly. The power transfer of this poly chain feature has the same advantage of a gear driven unit that allows you to transfer the maximum power from the engine, and there is no power loss from belt friction. However, unlike gear boxes a poly chain driven power washer doesn't have issues with gaskets leaking oil caused by overheating. This will be the longest lasting 8 or 10 gallon per minute power washer you can find on the market.
There are only cold water options that we recommend pairing with a hot box in the event you want to use this as a hot water power washer. The alternator on the Honda GX690, IGX700 or IGX800 will allow you to keep the battery charged in the event you are using a 12 volt burner in conjunction with this machine, and the process to connect this together as a system is simple.

Is there a model available which uses a clutch of some sort or feature that allows the engine to remain running while the pump/machine isn't being used?
You can add a pressure switch to the efi models or a clutch on the 690 models. We don’t get asked for it often but it is an option that can be added.
I would like to convert my existing gear drive to a poly chain. Do you sell a kit with the base plate, pulleys and belt?
We only sell the machine complete. We do have belt driven skids that can convert to a belt drive in stock on a temporary basis at Washmart.com in the vault section.
