I've been watching all your mx5 videos as I've inherited a mk1 that's going to need a lot of work. A long term labour of love project. nice one, but why not just take all suspension, subframe, engine/gear out as a whole unit, thats how i did mine ;)

You can yes but sometimes the sway bolts tend to seize so its sometimes easier when they subframe is secured to something and not on the floor :) there are a lot of ways of approaching it just as long as the final goal is the same :)
