- We found a JDM scooter dealer in LA, and he had some hilarious stuff for sale. We settled on 2 Honda Gyros. C-Milk's is a 2001, and Winston's is a 1994. Both are salvaged from Kyushu, Japan. We are going to fix them, get them in tip top order, and take them on an adventure. It'll be a challenge with a 1 gallon gas tank, and a top speed of about 25-30 mph, but hey, that's the fun, isn't it?

GYRO or PSYCHO? OK, I really did not see something like this coming. Which, is part of the channel's charm. I have to assume you won't be climbing any (at least not in a hurry) hills and freeways are out, so local roads traversing quiet spaces are a better choice. I suppose you could trailer them somewhere, but you're talking about a vehicle that would not look out of place on a golf course. This is going to be very entertaining.
When you cross-reference the engine, you should be able to find quite a few 'hop up' parts (big bore, flat slide carbs, CDI) from our friends in the Detroit of Asia - Thailand.

Gyros are hilarious. There is a pizza company in nz that used to use them. If I were to make a three wheeled scooter I'd put the two wheels in the front. More braking and turning.

These are awesome! It’s actually a British design from BSA which Honda bought the license for in 1970 as well, & the British design included pedals to assist on hills!

I had a Yamaha quad/4 wheeler that used oil injection like this. If you know the correct ratio of gas to oil, it should be as simple as disconnecting and blocking off the lines/connections running from the pump, tank, and carb. Then simply mix the correct amount of oil into your gas.
Use them to deliver for Uber eats for a day and record the experience!
Don’t forget E Bay has almost everything. ALSO did you guys know that in Arizona you can drive a quad wheeler or side by side or even a golf cart to town, the grocery store, whatever way better than California
You can get a Chinese 125cc 4 stroke engine with everything you need for just over $400 off Amazon. It is electric start, automatic clutch, 3 speed forward and 1 speed back, comes with the ignition switch, throttle sensor, and wiring harness. The only thing you need is a muffler and to rig up some sort of cable for the shifter. It wont smoke so bad and you could do around 55-65. I would love a bike like that thing.

... and you have to clean up the tanks, use a aftermarket fuel filter, use your own 2% oil mix in the fuel and disconnect the ol oilpump, clean up the exhaust and exhaust port of the cylinder, clean up the piston top and cylinderhead, get the right airfilter (Two stroke airboxes are specific in size and resonance), exchange the pointers, set ignition timing 1.6mm AOT, forget EVERYTHING you know about fourstrokes!
Dunno what the cost would be to ship them but it would be insane to see you guys do your tour of Japan next year with these two if you get them fixed up.

My dad used to import 2 year old cars from Japan to South Africa. We used to register them in Botswana or Mozambique then the vehicles would be bought for cash and would be sold all around Southern/Central Africa. I kid you not when I say that a lot of those vehicles were virtually brand new and all of them were very low mileage.

In the state of Georgia we have something like a learners permit for motorcycles. You get one and it's good for a year, you have to take a written test to get one. There are some prohibitions with it if memory serves you aren't allowed to ride at night, with another person on the back, or on the interstate.

2:27 I spy a Customised 400 cc Honda Steed. (an old girlfriend used to have one). Pretty much spot on yet the fork angle is a little bit steeper on that one in your video. A good reliable 'poor mans Harley'.
Oh, the speed limit for 50 cc scoots in Japan (or at least I know in Kyushu) is 30 klm's p/h !!! sooo weak. If you have a bigger bike licence you can get a red number plate which allows up to 50 k an hour I think. Most 50 cc scoots in good nick can top 85 klm's p/h. Mine is either full throttle or on the brakes, there is no in between.

Ditch the oil injector pump, and just run two cycle gas mix.
I do this on my 2-stroke outboard motor, better to premix than having a failed oil pump which is very common.

id swap the motors to something 4 stroke. some 4 stroke scooters out there to cannibalise for that. 20mph? are they single speed like go carts? then get an off the shelf motor for or from a honda pressure washer or such. if you want gears, get one from an old quad. maybe need to do some cutting and welding tho. good luck. looks like fun to play racing laps in your back yard only
