Looks like a nice rig. We used crickets, My Uncle even farmed his own crickets. Slip rig would be good here. The river is very shallow in some spots, deeper in other places.

Extreme temperature will also reduce range. Here in Turkey now 40C/104F (humid & no wind/breeze) and my range is down a bit.

@@RussIsRight Actually broke local record today 42.6C/109F. Got my bike back after upgrading to Megarange gears 14-34T but will have to wait until it cools off a bit before going out for test ride.

@@RussIsRight ...I may "channel" your spirit this weekend. I am thinking about making a video riding to my "local" Costco (about 25 miles away) and of course giving you a "shout out" while I eat a hot dog or a slice of pizza. The pizza has a mind boggling amount of calories.........
