I've watched several unboxings lately on CZcams, this proves to me they're a losing proposition. You finally get one, and it's still worth only a little over what you paid. So overall you're still losing your arse on them. These people have a helluva racket going.

Maybe it’s my 45 years of experience in numismatics specializing in errors and varieties I would never buy a coin that I cannot put in my hand first. This is such a marketing scam. It’s ridiculous and I’m surprised people are buying into it. Otherwise awesome video. Love them all.

I think the profit you showed on the screen is the minimum. I think on all three coins you could probably sell them higher at your shop. And you came out with a real banger on the trade dollar.
Its a gamble pure and simple and most get ripped off!!
Gambling indicates that you have the possibility of losing 100% of your money. That's not the case here, use a different word.

I'm glad for your luck. I had not so good luck with my Series 5.... 1ASE, 1proof mercury dime, 1 lower grade Morgan cc all about $600 (minus sales expenses)
After watching a lot of whatnot breakers… the sticker ones are the hits not always red tho

Not sure if I like the series 5. in the past with series 3 you could buy three coins and it would be 3 random ones. it seems like with series 5 you have to buy 3 coins in one box and two are guaranteed meh and one is maybe good.

I think you might have won the set cause you found a trade dollar. Look at the side of the box again
That's for the 1873 coins. You will receive three red cores in one box for the set. Then use the code they provide in the box to redeem the rest of the coins.
Not a fan at all with the Vault box I would imagine 90% of the customers lose big time on this product and even with you getting a red core trade dollar with a retail value of $1400 good luck finding a buyer at that price. It seems to me these products with high dollar value would pretty much sitting on a shelf collecting dust with very few people looking for them. I'm glad you didn't get totally hosed . I wish I thought of this gimmick because very few come out ahead
I believe that is an instant cash offer from the people who sell the vault box so he can sell the red core right back to them so it won’t sit. But if you don’t get a red core in your box you pretty much lost a bunch of money.
Only thing I don’t like about these Josh… is that whatnot sellers get allocated a lot of these , they get sold way over priced and it feeds peoples sick gambling addiction and with NGC participating in this, makes me never want to collect graded coins.
But they didn't, a lot of them ended up selling for under $1200. If you would have watched some of the streamers, this was the case. Gambling indicates that you can lose 100% of your money. That doesn't quite apply here.

To much of a risk. Its like playing the slot machines in Las Vegas, i work to hard for my money, and knowing that there are more losers then winners, no thank you on both. Plus you get something that is probably not easy to flip. Not for me. Its to much of a gamble.

That was the inner box. It shipped in another box as well that did not contain the price.
Red core and still hardly a profit. Gambling is bad but it is a great write off!

VaultBox is a complete ripoff in my opinion
No actual collector ive spoken with wants anything to do with this nonsense. Hopefully it goes away soon. Its gambling, not numismatics. Watching people spend 10k on live auctions to come out the other end upset, disappointed, and left with a sour taste on coin collecting. Grading coins 1 thru 10 is a laugh. Go buy pokemon cards.
That's a shortsighted response. You don't have to like it, but understand it's a business model that works. They're not going away soon. They sell out of every release within an hour of the sale going live. Sounds like a flop huh??
