I just bought this gimbal today. In person, this gimbal is much nicer than it looks online. The quality is better than I thought it might be. It definitely has a premium feel to it. For those who are on the fence, like I was, in my opinion, you wouldn’t go wrong with this tiny but, mighty gimbal

To be honest, after using Zhiyun's WBS stabilizer, I feel that the product quality is very good, and the service is also pretty. Now this new white M3 seems very innovative. cant wait to try his microphone&lamp function

Do you know what does means ´video filming saving and playback’ features on the zhiyun compatibility list camera. I have a7c and it is marked not compatible with these features. What does it mean?.

On the specifications of Zhiyun 3 M I red that it can be balanced at any focal length，No need to remove eyepiece cap
Is Carl Zeiss not supported by the gimbal and can’t be balanced?

Hi Evan, Thanks for the video. How much is a difference (quality/functionality wise) is it between using a crane m3 with an iPhone vs using a mobile only gimbal like smooth 5/4? I'm thinking of getting the crane so that it supports both DSLR and mobile phones.
If you are only using a smartphone, then go with the cheaper Smooth. If you will use a lightweight ASP-C camera also, then you will need the Crane.

This NOT needed rebalancing feature is available only ok M3 ? I am asking bcoz i prefer to get M2 with possible Universal plate .

So, this gimbal doesn't support any CANON cameras? I have a couple of CANON 90D's and was thinking of purchasing this gimbal.
I am unable to control my phone (both Android and iPhone) with the M3. I have downloaded the ZY Play, and when I load it, it just shows the software interface, no camera. Any idea?
mine lasted 9 hours on a heavy use wedding day, saved the battery when i could, didnt use the light. Slightly less than required to get through a whole wedding day. Gimbal power life should be rated in constant-on time but theyre often rated in casual-use time. I'll probably have to make a habit of charging my m3 half way through a day. or have a second gimbal around.
Nice video. I can't find any info on zoom (digital or optical when supported). Does this gimbal allow control of that please, How does it zoom in on smartphones.
Crane M3 doesn't support zoom.
If we compare Zhiyun Crane M3 Vs DJI Ronin RSC 2 so which one will be the best choice for Real Estate videography with Sony ZV-E10 ?
No ZOOM function via the Adjustment Wheel. The manual states that it will be available in a later upgrade. This is a great disappointment!!! You can only control the camera via USB cable (no Bluetooth as with the M2). The only camera control with my Sony ZV-1 that I could use was recording. Such a failure for a blogging gimbal!! At least with the Crane M2 you could control the zoom of the camera. This Zhiyun product had failures too! It would cause the Sony ZV-1's screen to darken so much that you couldn't view it in the sun! I feel that the Crane-M3 is a downgrade to the Crane-M2 in basic functionality. An incorporated LED light is nice, but you need to be able to control the camera's zoom!!!!

not compatible with a7c with wire and there is no built in bluetooth., users reports oled burn in on the gimbal screen as the brightness is always at full level and there is no screen saver. the screen won't last long. cable are short, it is better to not connect any sony camera with wire. there is also a issue with charging even with latest 1.74 firmware with the icon not showing full charge ( from several users). Reviewers are not saying anything about these problems...
@@LUITESLIFE on the gimbal screen. It is oled so this technology does not like high brightness full time and direct uv sunlight and static object on the screen which create permanent ghost images on it. Several persons have mentioned it after few hours of usage. Normally with an oled manufacturer combine the screen with auto off after few seconds, or pixel shifter technology and custom msnagement to clean the pixels.( look at the latest tv oled ). It is not as bad as for a tv screen but the battery charger icon can stay onnthe gimbal screen in the center as the icon is displayed for 2 long hours at full brightness. You will see, the number of persons that will complain soon.
@@CC-gt3ro i guess a software update could mitigate that. The multifunction expansion base does add bluetooth connection to the camera and looks like it works with a7c. Check "crane m3 real life review"

So I am testing the Crane 3 and Ronin RCS2. The Crane M3 seems to be struggling with my iPhone 13 pro, moment case, and moment 18mm wide lens. The ronin, of course, handles it with ease. Is the crane M3 not powerful enough for the moment gear extras?
Probably not correctly balance or too light
Change the word "moment" to "Sandmarc" and I am having precisely the same problem.

Despite removing the Sandmarc lens, switching to a much lighter phone clamp, and following Evans's instructions to the letter, I was unable to adequately balance my i13 Pro Max, despite the fact that it weighs less than half the payload that the M3 allegedly can handle.
The problem is that, because it must be mounted in a clamp, it is impossible to align it with the center of the tilt motor, as Evan is doing with the Pentax.
I hate my weebill S. I think the plate attachment makes no sense and I don’t trust it. Plus I find even after calibration it is janky. And I have another old zhiyun that’s ok. Then I got this M3 and I love it. I feel like it does exactly what I want it to do. Plus it has a portrait mode. I love it so much I bought a second one for my other camera so I have one that’s ultra wide and another that is more normal or telephoto. Because I don’t want to trust battery on a non removable gimbal for weddings or jobs. I think buying a second gimbal makes the most sense. And it’s not that expensive honesty for what it is
You made not tests with camera. Only smartphone. Why?

I haven't tried that specific lens, but the A6400 should be no problem. I would say yes. However, you might also consider the Zhiyun Weebill

If you have a Fujifilm camera, do not get this, the software lacks any kind of control like focus, aperture, shutter speed for us fujifolks. It is a dumb gimbal, meaning that it can balance and have all the fpv and what not, but it cannot control anything on the Fuji camera.
