I didn't find the dragon *that* hard. It's weird to me that so many people are saying that it's one of the hardest bosses in the game.

@@thenurseinblack1810 I never actually beat the game, only beat one boss in the 3rd area, but I probably found the clown hardest, followed by, idk, maybe Wally Warbles? Not too many bosses that stand out for me as being much harder than the others.
Junkyard Jive took me days to S rank. This was during the first week of the games released where the professor had an absurd amount of health with no pink items to hit. They changed it now when I went back to it this year.

I used the smoke bomb for every level (Except the ones with plane it's just useless)and i think it is the best upgrade

I use it most of the time, but I also use auto parry most of the time especially in the devils last phase (you should know why)

It took me over an hour to beat that level and he just breezed through it.
They had the invisible dash, where you have i-frames when you dash.
Nope, they had p. sugar equipped. You can visually see if someone has smoke dash, on top of the fact that they actually check their load out right before starting and you can see p. sugar equipped.

This game looks absolutely beautiful. I love the old cartoon style. They definitely need to make more games like this. I can't get it tho because I already know I won't beat the first boss lol

The first boss is easy if you do the tutorial and then practice on a demo or something like that edit: for beginners
I thought so too, but I've played this game for around 27 hours and I'm already at King Dice! It's all about muscle memory and plain luck. Plus, taking frequent breaks will help tremendously.

IGN reviewers only play about halfway through a game before reviewing it. This is fact. I saw it on CZcams.
IGN plays the tutorial and then try to review the game. You should see their Doom gameplay, dude was shooting the floor half the time

The dragon took me approximately 4 tries with the peashooter, lobber, extra heart, and original charge attack.

I like these guys, nice seeing devs genuinely enjoy the games they create
After all the time spent on a game you develop it would be wrong to not like what you created.
SketOG Well artists can tend to show a lot of humility and sometimes even downright hate or forget their work. But its always nice to look back at something and say "Yeah, I'm proud of that."
It's really hard to achieve that because you know your game nearly at 100%, there are no misteries for the creator.

So much respect for this development team and the game. It brought me back to time when games where hard. The art style reminded me of old cartoons I loved to watch and the music is just prefect for the title. Awesome game created by an awesome team.

Optimus Vivero I agree I’ve been thinking to actually try out the game and IDNGAC (I do not give a care) if it’s all raging but like they always say “practice makes perfect” just keep on trying and trying you may improve or not but never give up your dreams, some dreams sometimes are dreams sometimes they feel like it could happen in the future or it could happen in reality but the creators of cuphead are such an great team, great developers, I like the 1930s art styles just everything about the game really blows my mind for real though

I think their idea came from playing Battletoads or Ghouls and Goblins while 1930-40s cartoons were playing in the background.... while they were high.
There’s nothing more cool than watching the devs play there own game. Hearing the little back stories. This stuff is great.
