My channel generally focuses on a more casual side of speedruns. With these videos I want to show off cool speedruns, explain how they work, and entertain. Hopefully you enjoy the content and maybe even take up speedrunning yourself, because it is truly a lot of fun!
If you're wondering why I didn't use certain Cuphead glitches in this speedrun, it's because this is the 1.1+ category where they removed a lot of them. So this is more just using the regular tools to try to go fast.

Chess is also very easy. All you have to do is attack their king in such a way that they can't get it to safety. Oh, and the secret to boxing, is to hit the other guy, and not let him hit you.

Tip for the Phantom Express: With the conductor/skeleton, the little pumpkin drops a parryable item. Just letting it fall helped me a lot because it always went where the head was.

As an old gamer (started with C64 in 1983) I was kinda surprised that everyone called this game super hard. The games have gotten easier through the years and I actually liked that this reminded me of the good old days. I only have platinum trophies for about 10 games and this is one of them. Though I must admit when I finished the game and found out I have to play it through in yet another difficulty level I had to take a deep breath.

When you played through the game a few times with time you dont have problems with defeating some bosses then you can start to try speedrunning

In the beginning Eazy was gambling in the casino in order to collect enough money to fund his other speedruns, the kidney farm isn't ready to be harvested yet.

I was like damn this game's hard but I grew up on PS1 and PS2 sidescrollers which were insane. So I was getting through unimpressed until....the Green Dragon. Took me forever to get Knockout and when I finally did I literally shouted "TAKE THAT BITCH!"

Dang, you made so many of the boss fights look easy. I spent almost 3 hours just trying to beat Dr. Kahl (definitely my least favorite fight so far)
A couple years back I got really into Cuphead and speedrun the game. I ended up beating the base game in roughly 29 minutes. I tried to recreate it this year but failed miserably. Barely made it halfway when the 30 minutes timer ran out.
Grim matchstick feels like a boss that was designed for airplanes until they realized that you can’t shoot backwards in an airplane!
If so they could've learned to turn the player around. Oh well

For anybody wondering, the wr is 23:16 and, I don’t know if they patched this, but the top runners can shoot both the strongest guns at the same time with a glitch.
They patched this, but there are seperate categories for speedrunning and most runners do the "legacy patch," aka the first iteration of the game where the trick wasn't patched, so they still utilize it in that category.

A way to go slightly faster and save like 30 seconds is to not shoot the onion, he will become happy and skip straight to the carrot. Hope this helps!

Alternate title: Easy Speedzy not knowing how to identify objects for 20 minutes
During the genie boss at the coffin phase I save all of my cards by hitting the genie in the first phase. With all five cards I got to the top of the screen and use the bombs. That way they all hit that red worm thingy and after 5-7 bombs I use my bomb morph move then hit him and keep using the bombs. That way I can make some quick work of it.
Eazy: The frog boss is easy

Interestingly enough, the developers purposefully left in some of the glitches to help with speedrunning!
I think it's cool when developers do that. As long as they don't ruin a casual playthrough, there's honestly no reason to patch certain glitches

I’d love to see a Celeste speed run. That game is hard but has so many fun speed running tricks to it
Sadly, most of the tech that makes Celeste speedrunning look so cool would be very very difficult to do for someone with just one or two full playthroughs.

@@Lookout1000 i found the movement tech to be quite easy lol. sure the advanced tricks can be very hard but that's just for top level speedruns. celeste sure has an incredibly high skill ceiling, but i find the skill floor to be rather low, so you can just plan your route to fit your skill level. i cant see why he wouldn't get a decent time with just a full playthrough and some practice

After playing awhile I learned that with the coffin stage if you don’t want to get hit you can go to the top of the screen and just shoot down bombs with your tail above the pyramid I love cup head.

I like how nobody actually uses the fact that the second king dice slaps his hands to summon the dice the die is already there so you're able to Parry his hands to get a automatic one
Hey! This video may be a bit old, but a speed strat for the genie is before he makes a large cuphead clone, shrink so you skip that phase (the mini cuphead will be in the last phase)
Speed run tips: if you dont shoot the union he will not attack and you will skip that stage and go to carrot. But this means a turnip will attack you in the ground Making beating the carrot harder.
2:while djimmy the great is telling your fortune turn small and the puppet stage will be skipped. But the next one will have a mini puppet to attack you during the pyramid stage/the last stage
