Thanks for watching. Head out, enjoy the water and stay safe. Always wear your PFD and let others know where you're going. Remain within the limits of your equipment and skill set. Have fun!
Thanks mate. Yeah I was getting pretty frustrated with it at one stage. Fish were on the bite and my lure was all tangled up. I have a different berkley net with thick rubber net that I'll use next time. Thanks for watching.
Love the video But please tighten your drag lol 😅😅 For future reference, replace all double clutch trebles with bkk fangs 63ua size 8 you wont regret it.
Nice catch Terry. I wouldn't mind seeing a glance at your fish finder when you see a school if it shows on camera in the light? We have huge problems with seals down the Coorong
Good session Terry! Do you squash the barbs on your trebles? I’ve done that with most of my lures and it’s made unhooking fish much less of a hassle. I also saw a video of a pro bass fisho where his theory was the barbs actually stop the hook from setting better as it has to create a bigger hole for the barb to get through. Food for thought… you’ve spoiled us with 2 good videos in short succession, thanks mate!
High mate sounds like a good idea. I might even look at replacing the treble with a single hook like on some of the other lures. A bit like this lure www.bcf.com.au/p/rapala-x-rap-subwalk-hard-body-lure-9cm-silver/639361.html?gclid=CjwKCAjwxOymBhAFEiwAnodBLL_6KDFPXvG-2duPFtnWBOepPir1P9C27shzJ4u1RTjGKp6PjV8dpRoCl2oQAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds
Good to see the salmon are still out there at glenelg didnt get the chance to go out yesterday might have to hope for next week to give them a go Also don't know if you've tried one but there's s net that Berkley make that rubber instead of cloth I haven't had a hook get caught in it yet after 9 or so months
Yeah mate, give it a go out there and let me know if you get onto any. I actually do have one of the rubber Berkley nets but decided to take the smaller net this time because I was on the smaller Kayak. Wont be doing that again. Thanks for the comment.
@kayakfishingins.a4327 ended up making it out Monday morning was a bit rough but still managed to get 3 salmon between 39 and 47 then went in closer to the beach left of the jetty and was able to pick up 13 decent gar
Cool video Terry. Those nets are a nightmare with trebles! I’ve been there

Yeah I replaced the trebles on the smaller double clutch. The original trebles were rubbish.
nice sessions Terry , looked like good fun :) have to get out and try one day
Yeah, get out there. Use your sounder to find them, then start pulling them in.
Haha the seal's are hungry too!

Yeah sure, I'll take a pic next time. Had a lot of seals at Ardrossan as well when I was there last.

Yeah it's caught me a lot of fish 👍😄
