In this episode of The Full Scale Fishing Adventures, join Lubin as he heads to the Glenelg River in southwest Victoria in search of bream with soft plastic lures @thefullscale-fishingadvent2917
I’m a regular to Glenelg river. My father and I fish right up that river towards Dartmoor. Big bream, perch and the odd jewie. As a kid we used to camp on the jetty’s up stream.
Use the ST Grub in the Blood Oil colour. Ive been using it in systems where im lucky to catch over 38cm bream. Tried the Blood Oil colour, caught 23 fish with 12 being over 43cm. Did that 6times in 4 weeks, and almost 50% of the fish have been monsters. Brother in law was using the normal motor oil, and he didnt crack a single 40cm! At one point I pulled 4 in a row! U need to try it mate, amazing colour! Love the vid!
wow snapper in the glenelg never heard of them being in there, but great to see and a great catch! If theres one there could be many and and a decent amount in years to come
Awesome spot there at Nelson. Fished it a few times with Keegan and Liam. I have a rod and reel and Keegan has a landing net sitting on the bottom somewhere in there. Keep up the good work mate.
Watching your channel is so good. You are always so informative but make it fun. Plus it was always fun fishing with you in the fly fishing comps and having a chat. Cheers mate
Some big bream in there and Jewies. Mate got spooled one night at the poles. Fact there was quite a few huts up river but the powers to be destroyed them. i have a book with photos of the shacks/huts, a lot of landings have been named after folk that had shacks there. A great book if you can find it is called "Tales of the Glenelg river woods" by Geoffrey Stott it tells the history of the river and how folk would venture there and set up their shacks etc etc. There is also a section on how they gathered baits its a great read.
Thanks Peachy! I’ve got the v2 but I think they’ve just released a newer version. It’s such fantastic technology, it’s certainly a lot to get used too but wouldn’t be without it in some types of fishing now
Mate if your ever near mildura hit me up id love a day on the water learning some of your trickd to the trade. I get out as much as possible and never landed a cod in all my fishing trips. 500$ reels dont mean im catching anything
That snapper was a fantastic (& unexpected) result! Great result Lubin.
Great episode mate, been waiting for that one at Nelson! Keep them coming 👍🏻
Really good video to watch. Must be a healthy estuary system as the fish looked in prime condition. The snapper was exceptional. Cheers 😀

That’s really cool, it’s great to be able to find out the history of places like that
When you coming back down to Tassie for some videos?
I'd like to see you do one on mulloway
Great snapper Lubin! How do you like the Active Target? Have you got v1 or v2?

I got lucky I reckon 😬
What rods and reels did the damage?
I was using a TT black mamba 2-4kg 7ft spin with a Okuma ITX1000
Gotta be a soapy jew that first hook up
That’s what I first thought!
@@thefullscale-fishingadvent2917 only just started watching was just a guess was it a massive ep or estry perch
Mad mate ! I’m yet to get out on it for a fish, quality stuff
