The Fish Were On This Morning | Parramatta River Fishing | Top Surface Lures | Soft Plastics| Winter

Today’s session I head out to my local bay on this cold winter morning. A lot of surface activity happening with the halco streaker producing the goods. I then tested out the bottom with soft plastics using a 2.5” curly st grub from Zman.

Rods used: ugly stick 4-10 kilo rod (medium setup) | 2-4 kg Shimano Maikuro II (light setup)
6 lb braid main line | 8 pound FC leader | 1/6 jig head size one hook | curly tail at grub ( light setup)
20 lb braid main line | 14 lb FC leader | Halco streaker metal slug
