Thanks for watching. Head out, enjoy the water and stay safe. Always wear your PFD and let others know where you're going. Remain within the limits of your equipment and skill set. Have fun!
That used to be the only boat ramp for Adelaide in the 1960s, there used to be a servo on the wharf and all the cars and trailers parked where the new cars are stored, there were no fences, people could park on the wharf and go crabbing or fishing, just bit of history
Remember as a kid many a night fishing of the warf, shame you cant get anywhere near it now.
One morning with my dad, where he launched 100m wide patch of salmon just bubbling on the top, was great fun with my dad.
Sorry mate, just noticed your comment. I bet you have some great memories with your dad fishing out there. Its a shame that there are not as many fish around as there used to be.
Great Video. I have fishing under that bridge, lots of sweep, drummer, salmon and bream.
Yess he has done it love the salmon at that spot cheers for the vid it was a greater one love to see more like this
Thanks for watching and commenting mate, appreciate it.
never even seen that area before where you launched, that drop off is scary deep. That salmon was awesome
Thanks mate. I've been told the Port River used to get some pretty awesome fish years ago. I really like exploring new areas. The Port is always a good option when I cant get out into the ocean because of the swell. Thanks for watching mate.
Nice vid Mate I've caught bream, flathead, squid, and salmon there, never tried the end of the breakwall as I don't have a peddle yak.
Nice looking area. Looking forward to seeing a few boat videos. I always bleed my salmon into the bait container. I think it helps. Brilliant underwater footage
Thank you mate, appreciate it and thanks for the tip. Terry
Great vid again Terry, that was a lot of work ,the port not so good any more used to be great but well that how it is now days, that was a huge school of sambos , best get out and have a look asap , the new boat looks awesome ,congrats, look forward to having a look some time, good you got some time off finally :)
Thanks mate, looking forward to the maiden voyage next week, weather permitting.
Love outer harbour on the rocks when you walk out far. A kayak would make it a hell of a lot easier 👌
Yeah getting out there on the kayak is pretty easy. I just started with a used $250 kayak and was hooked.
That area sure looks pretty juicy, i am going to have to head down there and give it a go myself! as always great vid mate!
Thank you mate. For sure check it out. Thanks for watching,
I am old enough to have fished along the entire rock wall north of the boat ramp long before 'ANYTHING ' was built there. I have also fished and spear fished along the back wall "UNDER" the pier where the ships berth, when ships were berthed. So what you have today is nothing as good as what I and others my age had to play in. Progress sometimes is not a good thing.
Yep, another example of "the good old days". Unfortunately, we just have to do the best with what we've got now.
Nice boat good luck with it and are you going to post video as well
Yeah for sure, thats why I may need to change the channel name.
That fishing boat is the crabber.

New Name for when you operate in the Boat
(TUFFEE)
Yes thats right Boat and Kayak fishing now. Still have to work out the best way to film on the boat, been struggling with it a bit.
Great video was down there last Fri in similar conditions, beautiful, great breaming under the wharf one small snook on N b/w little else. Wil try your mix of
hb and SP
Yeah mate, try a few different lures for sure. Sometimes one thing works better than others on the day. Thanks for watching.
Unfortunately, that area was fished out 20 30 years ago . South Australia Gulf has died .....thats why so many fishman now target squid 🐙 Torrens Island & Garden Island have almost nothing 🤔
Yeah I heard there used to be a lot of big snapper in the area.
Hi BK
what size jig hook are u using on the bait fish soft plastic and what ib line are u sing
thanks
Hi mate, sorry just noticed your comment. I was using 10 lb braid and 10 lb leader. Jig was a 1/4 from memory as I use a heavier jig head when I'm trolling. Thanks for watching.
