Thanks for watching. Head out, enjoy the water and stay safe. Always wear your PFD and let others know where you're going. Remain within the limits of your equipment and skill set. Have fun!

That used to be the only boat ramp for Adelaide in the 1960s, there used to be a servo on the wharf and all the cars and trailers parked where the new cars are stored, there were no fences, people could park on the wharf and go crabbing or fishing, just bit of history

Remember as a kid many a night fishing of the warf, shame you cant get anywhere near it now.
One morning with my dad, where he launched 100m wide patch of salmon just bubbling on the top, was great fun with my dad.

Sorry mate, just noticed your comment. I bet you have some great memories with your dad fishing out there. Its a shame that there are not as many fish around as there used to be.

Thanks mate. I've been told the Port River used to get some pretty awesome fish years ago. I really like exploring new areas. The Port is always a good option when I cant get out into the ocean because of the swell. Thanks for watching mate.

Nice vid Mate I've caught bream, flathead, squid, and salmon there, never tried the end of the breakwall as I don't have a peddle yak.

Nice looking area. Looking forward to seeing a few boat videos. I always bleed my salmon into the bait container. I think it helps. Brilliant underwater footage

Love outer harbour on the rocks when you walk out far. A kayak would make it a hell of a lot easier 👌

Yeah getting out there on the kayak is pretty easy. I just started with a used $250 kayak and was hooked.

I am old enough to have fished along the entire rock wall north of the boat ramp long before 'ANYTHING ' was built there. I have also fished and spear fished along the back wall "UNDER" the pier where the ships berth, when ships were berthed. So what you have today is nothing as good as what I and others my age had to play in. Progress sometimes is not a good thing.

Yep, another example of "the good old days". Unfortunately, we just have to do the best with what we've got now.

Unfortunately, that area was fished out 20 30 years ago . South Australia Gulf has died .....thats why so many fishman now target squid 🐙 Torrens Island & Garden Island have almost nothing 🤔

Hi mate, sorry just noticed your comment. I was using 10 lb braid and 10 lb leader. Jig was a 1/4 from memory as I use a heavier jig head when I'm trolling. Thanks for watching.
