  • I had a ball catching and yes, losing fish, on a day with very little tide movement. I decided to take a break from the Garfish and fish for Mullet and possibly Yellowfin Whiting even though it's getting a little late in the year for them in the Carrickalinga location.
I also decided to burley up the area to get the fish to come to me and hopefully get them on the chew, I wasn't disappointed! What was interesting about the days fishing is how the Mullet were around early when the weather was overcast and as the day got better and Brighter the available species changed. The Big flathead was a welcome bonus!
I hope you like the video and if you do, please like and subscribe!
As always, Have a good one!

Grew up in Adealide but never got into fishing. Live in Japan now and surprisingly almost no one eats mullet. I will take one if there is nothing elae about. Mainly get sea bass.
Just Subbed to you, enjoy your vids.

Hit me up if you want to swap some spots. You’re welcome to come along on a flathead fishing trip too. But I generally only do the flathead spinning in warmer months.

Hey mate,, thanks for the vid. Do you just drop the cat food in freely? Just crush it up in your hands and drop it in? Thanks

I put the cat food into a plastic burley pot to slow down it’s dissipation, it works a treat!

Be mindful , when retrieving , don't let the rod go over the perpendicular , that's when you lose the fish , good video
