Now My Engine Wont Explode | GRT EIS 4000 Install

- I'm going to be honest, installing the @GRTAvionics EIS 4000 was a lot of work. Every sensor, probe, and resistor has to be just right for the system to work properly, and I'm not even going to get started on the wiring. BUT, it's TOTALLY WORTH IT! Not only do I have critical engine information, but It coupled with my iLevel AP from @levilaviation. Now I can see Everything on a single screen.
I want to give a HUGE thank you to GRT Avionics, for working with us on this project. Make sure to check them out at grtavionics.com/

Hello from CYQT. 👍🇨🇦👍
Love your videos and your enthusiasm for Aviation.
THANK YOU for sharing your experience and stories. 🙏
Cool install video for the engine monitoring system. The length of the fuel line from the pump to the transducer may be problematic, as the transducer is fixed to the firewall and if the pump is attached to the case on the back of the engine. The engine will move on the motor mounts and if the line is to short with no room to flex you may wind up with an uh oh moment followed by a lot of quiet and the odor of poo in the cockpit
It has just enough to flex and move. I know what you're saying though. I questioned it myself. I'll be monitoring it closely in ground testing. I'm doing LOTS of ground testing.
10:25 love utilitarian 3D prints like this.
Cant' wait for the Start Up Video. Carl you rocks, you have a tremendous amount of knowledge in aviation & it is a pleasure to watch your vids. Greeting from Paris, France ✌✌
This is a great install and a very good piece of equipment to have , I have JPI 830 on my bird and love it !
JPI makes some nice stuff too! I went with these guys because it connected to my other avionics.
@@flywiththeguys 👍🏻👍🏻
Great video Carl, cheers from Texas.
exciting stuff... I'd go work on engine now if it wasn't in 44 boxes! lol
I finally got my hangar on the north side of DVT. Let me know if you ever need any help. I'm always happy to work on a plane.
👍✅ Looking great Carl, tks for the video! Your a Red Rock.. Tease Carl 🤣
Nicely done and a great video too. Do you have the file for the shunt somewhere I could download it? I've been wondering about how to install mine without it flopping around.
shoot me an email over on the website. I'll send it over to you.
@@flywiththeguys Done, thx
