    oh I have got to get one of these. The video function alone would be worth it. The 140 will be getting a upgrade.

    Thanks for showing this! I bought one of these as soon as they were available. Unfortunately, I am still building and probably won’t fly until early fall (Zenith Cruzer)

    Very nice! Ordered one a couple of weeks ago and am still waiting for it to arrive. How long did it take you to get yours in?

    Why not a one box solution for ADS-B in and out?

      GRT has a general list of compatible Equipment section on their website. Your options are Free Flight Systems or UAvionix Echo UAT which is not a transponder. The tailbeaconX is his Transponder/ADSB out and now with the discovery he has the ADSB -in. After looking at everything I think its the best option.

    Is that big gap in your door intentional? Cool panel.

      Yes it is, the door handle has two positions to allow for airflow.

    Great info Bryan. What camera did you use for the taxi cam?

    • @BowenAero
      @BowenAero  Před 2 lety +1

      It is just a back up cam, has to be analog with a usb input end. I used this one www.amazon.com/Universal-Mount-Front-Camera-Built/dp/B004HJ9D4Y?pd_rd_w=J8lCB&pf_rd_p=156a0c3c-24b4-42c3-ab75-57bbc5cae817&pf_rd_r=04MDJVCKXGRDBWV1WA0Q&pd_rd_r=060b0175-8ccc-4a3e-a70c-3116a97d65b6&pd_rd_wg=Yreca&pd_rd_i=B004HJ9D4Y&psc=1&ref_=pd_bap_m_rp_1_sc

    pick up the sound mod for your hero 9. has a spot for an external mic/input, and the battery doesn't fall out. Also has a large built in mic with a foam wind noise deflector(if that's the correct term. It is a bulky setup but I have used it bouncing around on my mtb and in my little cessna 150 without issue.

    Awesome! Nice upgrade, that front Camera you have do you use it in Stol comps? I'd guess no. Cheers

    Awesome to see a new Project Kitfox vid, what does the "Auto Tune" switch do? Besides ADHRS, did you install a magnetometer too? Would like a NR Prop for my Apex build. They say they are working in Kyiv now during the war to fill backlog of orders, but seems risky to send money now.

      The Auto tune switch allows the ECU to take the wide band O2 sensor information and fuel trim to keep the air fuel mixture ratio perfect, if the O2 sensor fails and starts giving inconsistent information, I can turn off the auto tuning and then the ECU just goes to the programmed fuel map.
