- My plane had no electrical or lights when I got it. @AeroLEDS decided to help us out with the lighting part. In this video we install the their Sunbeacon II to the back of our plane with some fancy 3D printed airplane parts. But since I'm a bit too large to fit in the back of my plane, I enlisted my 8 year old daughter to help with the install.

She'll help with anything in the plane. She climbed back there again recently and vacuumed the hole thing out.
Good use of little hands! Also, whenever she see the plane she'll remember the quality time she spent helping dear old dad.

LOL! This reminds me of bucking rivets inside the fuselage of my dad’s build when I was her age. (Disclaimer: I had hearing protection!)
I've been doing a bunch of that recently. It's not as fun as I was hoping it would be.

She can. If my boys ever asked me to help them hid a body I would be all like "you better turn yourself into the police." If she came up to me with the same question, "Let me get the shovel and a tarp."
Now that is a story she will be telling her kids! The time she helped grandpa build his airplane 😎. We’ll done Carl!

Shes killing it. Actually got back in the other day to help me replace the mount. I used the wrong material. We're good now. SO glad I made it serviceable.
