I’ve watched this movie an unhealthy amount of times now. Please make a sequel. I need more Lars, Sigrit and Lemtoff.
I keep noticing things like Sigrit crying for Lars on the lighthouse pier. When Rachel almost fell off the segway. Means more when I hear she practiced only 2 hours on it. Its a special movie.

I was lucky to have seen The Princess Bride when it was first released. I am NO expert on cinema, but there are some movies that just strike you as "instant classics." Eurovision is another. I can watch it over and over again.

The rewatch value of this movie is off the charts. I think I've seen it about 6 times now and it still feels fresh.
"Somebody did this and won" :D Not only won, but won for the first time ever; Finland's record on Eurovision is notoriously bad. Was, until Lordi (and has been since).
I honestly believe every country should do what they do best, and not what's popular. Finland is known for great metal bands, and Lordi are not even one of the best ones. I'm from Serbia, and in our case, power ballad with traditional instruments is a way to go.
This carries the same therapeutic energy as Mamma Mia.
By a country mile, Dan Stevens killed every scene he is in as Alexander Lemtov. A terrific character and Dan makes it his own. tour-de-force performance. Like his comedic turn as Sir Lancelot in Night at the Museum: Secrets of the Tomb, Dan once again knocks it out of the park with his great comedy skills.
I have watched this for the nth time and I need a sequel!! Please make one. Rachel McAdams is such a breath of fresh air. So darn charming. Love her!
They need to make a sequel. This movie was beyond hilarious and the music was actually REALLY good.

What a great director David Dobkin is. His cameras and directions are spot on and he deals so well with all the actors and singers. It’s looks as if he loved making this film and loved the music too.

The song “Husavik”(my hometown) alone made this whole movie worth while. There’s a lot of important messages in this film and the song sums it all up perfectly

You have to understand the difference between america as the Country and north america as a continent with different countries in it. Stop comparing america, the Country, with europe as a continent. It doesn‘t make sense. And an american song contest doesn‘t make sense Because it‘s just in your country. The esc is beautifull because there are so many countries and different cultures and you can learn about the different countries. Also it‘s just a beautifull feeling of Connection in europe. Don‘t destroy this uniqueness just because you americans want something what won’t be in the end anything like the esc...

Fire Saga is a dumb saturday night movie with this one brilliant and heartwarming "final song" scene.
I was working while playing this movie in the background, had some laughs, nodded with the songs especially ja ja ding dong (the orchestra is awesome too btw), but "my hometown" and how it's presented in the movie is beautiful. The lyrics that tribute Iceland is so sweet and the reaction from the Icelandic actors got me a little choked up.
