This is my first time watching Austin. He is very thorough, so if you've never done a build before, he's probably the one to watch. While many others out there have PC build tutorials, I think this is the most thorough, most detailed explanations from picking parts to installing, that I have seen.
That being said, he did things in a bit of an odd order in my opinion, but that doesn't mean it's wrong. And I am by no means an expert.
My recommendation to a first time builder...Watch this, and a few other build tutorials, all the way through BEFORE you start to build. This will ensure you know all the steps that are coming, and you don't have to redo things as you go, hopefully. Then, pick your favorite tutorial and watch it while you are building, pausing as needed. Definitely keep any manuals nearby. The motherboard manual is particularly helpful as it is likely easier to read than the motherboard itself as far as diagrams.
Then enjoy building! As Austin says, it isn't as scary as it seems. In general, building a PC is easier than many think once you have the parts.

I know it might be a little advanced to look into but I think it would have been good to mention when choosing an air or watercooling solution for your cpu the most important thing to look at is the TDP that the cooler can handle which will give you relative insight into what cpu that specific cooler can handle. I know that every company has different TDP specs and they are not 1:1 but it will give you an idea if the cooler you choose will be able to compensate for the heat per watt that the cpu is putting out.

Just a quick note: 80Plus rating is not a quality mark it's just an efficiency test. Yes a more efficient psu is more likely to be higher quality but it doesn't inherently mean it is high quality. You're better off looking for reputable psu vendors like EVGA, Corsair or Seasonic.

Eeeeeh, RAM part lacked a little, specifically because whether you go Intel or AMD, one or the other will benefit more from frequency or latency, which you didn't mention at all
In this particular case, being an AM5 platform, going with a lower latency is preferable, over going for the top speed but have higher CL.
Moreover, with AMD it's useless to go over 6000mhz, because of how the architecture works, which I won't delve into details, it being a beginner's guide
