Classic one Earl! Most people focus on the guitar and vocals of BB on this song but the drumming is so cool as well! Nicely done!
Rich Raw Dawg drums ....Rich the bass line is so deep! I love playing the blues with a great bass player! This track is pure pocket drumming. You really can sit back on the beat because the bass is so solid!

Love it ... the group I jam with wants to play this one - its a new song for me. The groove and fills seem pretty straight forward but trying to get that opening lick down. Is it a snare on and of 2 then a roll started on the a of 3?
Jon, I think it’s a pickup fill (1) (2) 3 + trip let 4 + … but that’s the phasing of the fill. + trip let is more of an open ruff ending on 4. I hope that helps! I just felt the fill the way I heard it that day! You could play a bunch of different lead it fills! Like 3 +a 4 +! And it would work! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 thanks for watching!
