I went to military school with Barry jr in the 70s in So. Cal. He would sometimes sit in on drums for a band some of the guys had at school. He and the actual drummer of the band are who drew me to the drums, albeit 39 years later lol. His dad was a HUGE presence when he came to the school and a very nice man.

Yes folks that's Ed Greene on all those Barry white hits Ed plays this single handed you can do it just work up to it I've sat behind him in rehearsal you can move your arm like a shaker forward and back as you play

These Gretsch drum look like mine. My Gretsch Customs are 1979. I have an extra 20” bass drum-I used the 22” bass-still in the original box from ‘79! Never played on.
What can you tell me about your Kit?

Hi Dennis, mine is a 1979 Walnut Gretsch drums with Pearl mounts installed by the NYC drum shop … there is a lot to tell. I’ll talk about it on my March Ask Earl Anything show! There is so much to tell!

From what I could learn from DW-off the record as they are not allowed to comment about how valuable a Kit might be-he said to the right buyer-A Lot. My Zildjan’s are from the ‘60’s, & ‘70’s. Look forward to learning any advice you can throw my way on selling this Kit and of course the “Story” about your Kit. It is my favorite Kit that you perform on.

this song is too dificult.....for me is better play sixteen note in the hi hat with one hand, like porcaro, because the fill is more relax and the dinamic of the stroke fills with ghost note in the snare........in my opinion
