- This song was a great find this week. It’s an awesome Hal Blaine song, but it really implies so much more.
There is a youthful joy in the lyrics of this song. I used to think of it was just a wedding song, but it’s really about a whole different approach to life .. for me life is living and playing music is life! I hope you feel the joy in my playing as I let you into my drumming world and I hope you see my smile and drummer face and understand it’s about living life while you are breathing! Many are too busy working to enjoy the journey! Walk, breathe, rejoice and play! I hope you enjoy my time to play! 🤟🏻🤘🏻🙏🏻✌🏻

Actually the studio drummer was Hal Blaine, however she was an amazing drummer and singer.

Excellent! Tasteful and in the pocket. I read that Hal Blaine was quite the popular session drummer. I thought his style sounded familiar.. He even played on some Partridge Family songs, along with another great session (bass player this time) musician, Joe Osborn. Those two were on many popular tunes over the years, from a variety of artists.

I know Hal Blaine played on everythng but it's the Tommy Roe and Carpenters records that sound the most "Hal Blaine" to me. This is excellent.
