The EW-46 is a 4 wheel scooter made by e-Wheels. This enables the scooter to be extremely stable when compared to its 3-wheel counterparts. It's very fast (13 mph) and can travel over 30 miles on a full charge. While this isn't the ideal scooter if you intend on traveling often due to its sheer size, it is really a great unit for those who need not only a high top speed but also a long travel range.
You'll instantly notice the design of this scooter makes it look unlike any other scooter. It almost looks like a mini-car. In fact, it even has an alarm! Thanks for the video. The manual does not tell you how exactly to access the circuit breaker. How do you remove the batteries for the winter months?
You don't need to remove the batteries, just use the breaker to stop the batteries from delivering power to the unit while away.
That won’t keep them from freezing. If it’s stored
outside in freezing temps it’s best to remove batteries and take inside
Does this model have a "free drive" or neutral switch? How does one engage it?
The EW-46 doesn't have a freewheel lever, but you can push it, just make sure the brake isn't engaged!
Do they alllow something of this size inside of stores like walmart or is this too big?
Technically, this is a recreational scooter...You might have trouble with this model, I recommend the Afiscooter instead.
will the ew 46 fit on a carrier 60 one quarter inchers for length

Where can a person find someone to work on this contraption? I have one which will not run far even on a new charge with brand new batteries.
Well if you're in South Florida we could definitely help you, but if not you may have a hard time finding a local tech that services those products. Unfortunately they are not the most service friendly scooters.

I just bought one it arrived xmas eve. Cant get the twist motorcycle throttle to move it. What could be the problem ? Everything else works the lights, indicators, display etc bjt turn the throttle - nothing?
Check to see if the break lever is rubbing against the assembly. if the handbrake is engaged even ever so slightly it will not allow the unit to move. Make sure that the brake lever is not being pushed in sometimes it gets twisted around during Transit.
Have you gotten it to move yet?
Most likely the brake assembly needs to be rotated back so that the brake lever isn't being pushed back by the colored plastic panel on the main dash area. If the brake lever is engaged, the scooter will not move.

You would need to contract a freight forwarding company. We can send it to a freight forwarder in the USA, then the freight forwarder will charge you to send it anywhere you please.

No it cannot pull a trailer unfortunately, for that type of application I recommend an Afikim S4.
I bought the cobra 4, govenor on it slows you down greatly on any slope, it doesn't maintain 10 mph,, and it will do at the most 25 mi p charge.
@@connierogers-murray2130 the Cobra is great, but it still doesn't compare to the power of an Afikim S4 (1400 watt motor).

can you put lithium batterys in a ew 46
Give hour non-commission sales experts or call, they can confirm for you. Keep in mind the EW46 has a total of four batteries which is going to make it pretty expensive to convert to lithium. Most scooters only use two batteries.

yah this thing goes, wondering if it has a reverse? no mention of THAT anywhere! Still at the price I just spent, I don't think I care. Not that I bought mine from this lot... I won't mention where I got mine but was on a one day clearance sale free delivery $82.. Not as fast as my 1992 .. 0-60 MPH 2.5 sec.. top speed 180 MPH, but faster than either of my 8 MPH mobility buggies as they had a top speed of 8MPH.. They DID have reverse and that helps a lot. It's just too cold for me to do the work on them to get either of them as my fingers won't work for very long in the cold

You may get some issues bringing this into certain stores as it is not classified as a mobility device. Technically, this is a recreational scooter.

The serial number is inside the storage area under the seat. It's usually also on the user manual.

You did not show where the indicator is that tells how much charge is on the machine. Also show how to remove the plastic around the lights. Your documents that came with the 46 needs to be in more detail with photos of the controls and explain how to read the controls.

respect, finally a mobile with speed, you stay awake and don't fall asleep. the health insurances are happy to finance aids in sleeping car mode so that nothing happens to the poor disabled.
I wouldn't recommend the EW scooters anymore, they have a ridiculously high defect rate, and repair rate. What's worse is the manufacturer tries to blame the customer for improper use anytime they try to file a warranty claim. I would stick with a product made by a reliable manufacturer like Pride Mobility or Afikim or Golden Technologies even.
the wheelbase and the seat is nothing otherwise the part looks nice, for miuch the range and the speed would be decisive.
i only bought one i'm quite satisfied, but i like to think about other models if i buy it is a different matter. :-)
