- Today we are leveling the Explorer pirate class Buccaneer to level 200 in MapleStory in the Luna Server (GMS) In my opinion buccaneers really start to shine after 5th job. So make sure to stick until the end around to see more of that!

mentioned this on a past video, but now that you are full time on youtube, i know many of us would love a reboot series where you start on a fresh account from scratch, maybe no script or anything, just you progressing through a character (and maybe some link skills) until you can do like CRA or something. something episodic that we could look forward to would be really exciting and new players could follow and pick up some more in depth tips and tricks.

LotD can be used anytime though, you just need energy. But it doesn't require a full charge like power unity and dragon strike

I remember bucc being second in the poll and I just moved to EU reboot to start anew. I just finished my mercedes and now I'm starting my bucc so the timing is perfect!

i tera burned one recently,super fun and strong!
The reason cheaters abused him was because the lot of the skills are client sided, which mean hackable, same with blasters. Hackers don't care about the strongness of a class.

I chose Blaze Wizard for a nice Mega burning character to play with. It feels right thematically. If it's just regular levelling, I'd choose Dawn Warrior, I like its flashiness.

I'm currently levelling Evan on Reboot (for the link skill) and seeing your level 40 damage made me cry... (I hit like 16k at level 98, I'm pretty unlucky and keep dropping STR mage gear, though)

I have played Maplestory PC / Mobile on and off for a few years now, but always watch your video just bcoz of the nostalgia. I have recently trained WA / DW / BW to 200, of all Wind Archer is the hardest, while Blaze wiz is the easiest

The pirate class, specifically speaking the buccaneers or vipers sub-class, was and still is my absolute favorite MapleStory class to this day. Even after the atrocity that was Big Bang back in 2010 which ruined everything about MapleStory, and then eventually years after BB, the pirate class was still may favorite. It's unfortunate that Nexon didn't come out with a Classic MapleStory server at the right times. It could've definitely helped bring back some of the OG community who had been playing since Beta and before BB.
I'll never forget watching the introduction to the Pirate class 3D animation trailer that came out back in 2008. That was so cool to me. Then to see the new skills of the Pirate class like the Buccanners' "Dragon Strike" in game, I just knew I had to get to level 120.
Before the horde of classes that came to be as the years went on, the Pirate class (specifically buccaneers) was the first class where Nixon showcased/released a class that had completely different and unique skill animations. Nostalgia hits different.

Oh ya. If you are training an explorer, you can try killing blue mushmom until lv 20. It's quite fast.

CopperSan papa can you do an easy 100 star force guide. I just came back to maple recently after a 6 year hiatus and it seems like most of the guides out there are basically “just have mesos bro.” Are there any unique shoulders or other accessories which are readily available through bossing or quest lines in which I can star force? This would be a great video for newbies and people like me getting back into the maple grind and want to get past that 5th job threshold.

Bucc main here!! Lord of the Deep can be used without your energy being fully charged. As long as you have a tick of energy, you can use LoTD and keep it up by continuing to use Bucc Blast and hitting monsters.

Coppersan since your doing CZcams more, can u make more in depth videos, like where to start boss pre quests, what androids & Fs are, breakdown of updates. Maple story has been out so long that I’m surprised when I hit CZcams there are barely any in depth videos.
Bucc took too long to get to 5th job in reboot so I gave up on that server
I am thinking about starting Maplestory but I have no clue where to begin.. Do I just jump into game and blast through the tutorials? Do I have to spend money on NX to 'be good'? What are good classes to start as? I've read about Link skills and I guess it would make sense to start as a Mercedes only to get more EXP on my 'main' later on? Super torn on what to pick as a starter just because of Link skills existing..

How did you get the mesos to fund all your "training to 200" vid ? How far did your main progress in terms ofbossing ? Solo Cvel Hmag or lomien?
We get 50k NX cash from nexon every month (part of the bean brigade benefits) and use that to get mesos. I dont really boss and never fought cvel, hmag or lomien lol
