The best tip I ever got was that you should bind the "Talk to NPC" button to Y. So you can just spam Y and accept quests. No need to click anymore!

I have my skills at the keys q,w,e,r,a,s,d,f and the talk to npc button is at alt and jump at space. This is really recommended stuff like potions are at the number keys
If you're an endgame player, you can bind npc chat to alt/ctrl/shift so that you can spam then to clear altars quicker
I put mine on "H" for some reason after I got back into it recently. Before I only knew about hitting Enter, and clicking the right arrow and then Enter for yes or no questions 🤦♂️🤣

You can teleport to commerci using the "party play" button in quick move window.
Most bosses with a "basic attack" (like queens claw) will walk towards you and cast it the instant they get in range, meaning you can dodge it with a micro step back. This works on queen, pierre, von bon off the top of my head.
4:08 THE BIGGEST TIP OF ALL TIME. I've played maple shortly after 3rd job came out and every now and then I'd have a hiatus of a year or two or three, but EVERYTIME I come back, I always wished I knew the best way to fast travel and always regretting not buying the Permanent VIP Tele rock haha. What I actually found is that you can use Victory Island return scrolls in Mushroom Shrine, so I would go there and then use a sleepywood scroll and then go to six path, but this is definitely faster and uses no scrolls :D. There's actually an even faster way for some places though that you forgot to mention! For example if you want to go do Normal Pap boss for daily and you dont have VIP rock, you can use the Maple Guide to move to the Grims map which is just 2 maps away from Pap :D. I use the guide for Lion King Castle too and Third Door for PB/Ark; its so helpful. Tons of great tips overall but the fast-travel was by far my favorite haha. Also really liked that double click spell trace :) and meso market. I can do like 8 hard/chaos weekly bosses now :D so I rake in the $ with the crystals and now I can actually afford more cubes from rewards shop if I need :D. I never bothered to learn that meso market thing but it looks simple as can be. Thanks for the great content as always!
bind npc interact to the "y" key so you can just hold it down and blow through dialogue windows.
when in mushroom shrine, you can also just use any back to town scroll like henesys or sleepywood to insant travel there. that also works from root abyss.
right click items to place them into the extraction window, it saves lots of time when deconstructing flames/cubes

You can teleport thru Lotus’s lasers, Von Bon’s energy ball, and Lucid’s blades - feel free to add more! Also, you can rope teleport much more effectively now! Your animation skill speed also increased!
Also w/ the pin, you can use the “-“ and “=“ signs - which are next to each other - as well!

Put your NPC/HARVEST key on the button Y so you can skip through npc chat and also say yes to when the options say YES or NO so you can skip texts fast without getting reset when theres the YES and NO option

I ALSO USE Y. Definitely hugeeee time savor especially when making tons of chars for legion and just in general so much faster. When I finish my daily bosses and gotta accept all the reward points, I just stand somewhere with no NPCs and hold Y and spam click the rewards and go through all till 10 and then cash shop and repeat :D

another fast way to travel to henesys is to start the Friendstory side story, the only downside is that you have to watch a minute or two of unskippable dialogue. same way with 6th path crossway, if you killed 250 Coppersan Drakes you should have a guide stamp in the drakes map and freely teleport to sleepywood
I haven't played MS in like 10 years.
There's a lv 125(I think?) fire/poison archmage that I believe is still sitting around somewhere in Ludibrium.
I am THIS close to downloading the game again, just to see it he's all right...
They wiped all inactive accounts so it'll be empty when you log in if you really haven't touched it within 10 years
I had a 117 cleric I started when GMS was first released, and a couple of other lower level characters, I stopped playing for years (probably 2008) and then saw the notice about them deleting inactive accounts a month after the deadline T-T But when I logged in, the characters above level 31 were still there!! All my mules were gone though. Honestly if you're going to start playing again it's probably better to start a new character because the skill points and everything are all different and it's waaaay faster to level now. Almost 200 now, whereas it took me years to get past 100...

For quick transportation you should just go to the maple guide -> level 60 -> tp to sleepywood. Only works if you've killed 250 drakes after level 60. It puts you next to the portal that leads to the six path crossway. Way quicker and works on every map that a telerock works on.
something i do on reboot for link mules since mobs are a lot harder, while leveling i keep any equipment with potentials, then look for a +% stat potential, then I star force it and transfer the equipment up as I lvl. Gives a pretty good dmg boost
More tips: There are some skills that you can only buff by standing but for the quick buffs this is a nice idea.
I was in Knights Stronghold for awhile before trying out scrapyard. I gained 2 levels in 10 min just by activation the 180 questline. I recommend that xD
Yes do Monster Park everyday when you reach the appropriate levels and buy the exp potions.
Activate every rune that isn't darkness (Unless you are strong) and enter every yellow or red portal on your map =D

I use the maple guide to travel everywhere. If u unlocked the stamp for copper drakes, I believe it’s the level 60 guide node, u can use it to go to six paths from ANYWHERE without needing dimensional mirror. I also use maple guide a lot to take me to bosses to do my boss runs. It’s also a good way to reach those bosses like mole king, demolisher, black Viking, etc for RP farming. Provided u have the stamps for their respective locations. I get around 900-1000 rpm a day. U could get more if u do more, but for me that’s my limit otherwise I will burn out.
I’ve known about buffing on a rope/ladder for many years, I almost named my phantom “BuffRope” when phantom was released. lol

When re-rolling inner ability, hold enter key then click the ok button over and over, it's much faster than clicking 2 or 3 separate boxes for each re-roll, you won't even need to move your mouse

Small disclaimer/update: they reworked the ninja castle and now you can’t buy the potions inside. The new NPC is at Showa Town
I've found in Reboot when staring my equips, if you choose to skip star-catching and move the enchant window to to align the enhance button with the "ok" buttons for using mesos and accepting the enchant result, you can just spam click through your staring all the way to however many stars you wanna start catching at. (Sorry if it doesnt make sense, its a bit hard to describe it in words)

Another free tele is the "Guide" key. Some areas require 250 kills of a monster (ie. Sleepywood, Magatia's Sunset Road, Ludi's Toy Factory) or complete questlines (Arcane, KFT, Haven, etc), as long as it gives you that red stamp of completion, you can move to that map at any level. I literally use Guide to move from VJ to Lachelein to Future Perion if I wanted to.
Im not sure if Black Bean (the one at gold beach) exists in GMS but if it does, you can and should do it daily x5 for all the potions that it drops (it gives power elixir + sunset dew + sunrise dew + reindeer milk) you could earn quite abit of mesos from all those dews you sell
kritias has a go anywhere portal too, the catch is you have to move past like 2 town portion maps lol
If you need an extra button for a skill, instead of using a key to pick up; you can take out the key and just use the number 0 on the keypad on your right if you have a full sized 100% keyboard.
Fun Fact: When you rope buff with an Angelic Buster, her AOE skills like supernova stops dealing damage XD
pink bean as well.. nexon says no to afk farming even if it's like 15 seconds
when you main a mage and can't use the jump mech... :(. Been playing since 03' and a lot of these tips I can see helps with newer players.

Hard Hilla used to drop the pet box 100% of the time, but sadly that chance was lowered and now it's not guaranteed anymore.

Maybe you should join a active luna guild for your new main. It will be easier to progress for sure.
Boss crystals are worth anywhere between 200k mesos from crumbling zakum, all the way to 500M from the black mage boss =o
Also with inner ability, just keep rerolling for legendary and then lock the rank every time you reroll it and try to get attack speed +1

I just got back into the game with a few friends and had a few questions.
1) Are party quests still viable?
2) Are boss fights worth doing with friends or are they better solo?
3) What do friends do in the game together?

1. High level party quests are a must (after level 210) below level 200 no one does PQs.
2. High level boss fights are recommended to do with friends, not the low level ones (again below level 200)
3.hang out chat and kill bosses, and do high level PQs

The last time I played, when I reached lvl 150-160 and the burning event ended, I had to train for at least 1-2 hours for a level. Does that make sense? I ended getting bored of the grind and of the level 150-160 maps. I was fighting mobs in kerning city mall i think.

This is a late reply, no one else has, but you should maximize your Legion tree and Link Skill usage. Also Starforce and Scrolling to maximize your stats for leveling/bossing. I only have 1700 ish Legion and my highest character is a burning Adele, lowest is 105 Zero all on reboot, only 13 characters, so my damage is not even close to Cooper's. He also has billions of mesos which I do not. It's all about mesos, spell traces, and stats/gear.

Coppersan i cant play GMS, Nexon wont let me reset my PIC, it says "u have entered an incorrect PIC plss try again later." I tried everything reseting the PIC in the official website and in the game selection, NOTHING, WORKS SCREW NEXON AND THIER PIC SYSTEM, if u have any solution or tips wht i should do plss reply, btw u got the best maple channel ever ;)!

Yes professions are awesome! Android's are great because the heart can be upgraded and some android give access to a store by clicking on them
Very worth it. Its my main source of income. Perfect for non funded. (Got level 10 back in 2012)
