I think the title track Hysteria is a good bet: Mid-tempo pop gold with killer vocals - and a beautiful song. But their signature tracks are arguably first and foremost Photograph, the song that spawned a million copycats, and secondly Rock Of Ages - a rock anthem with electronic elements that were unheard of in heavy rock at the time. Props to their demon producer ”Mutt” Lange, who later turned Shania Twain into the best-selling female artist of all time.

His seat belt actually ripped his arm off while the car rolled over. It was reattached successfully, but then had to be amputated due to infection. They stuck by their pal, and the only way he'd be out of the band would be if he quit. Rick had a special drum kit made and retaught himself how to play and somehow got his brain to send his "left arm signals" to his left foot. He's just amazing

My daughter was born in 2002 and loves Def Leppard. For her sweet 16 we took her to see Journey & Def Leppard in concert. Def Leppard is more a family than a band. When their drummer lost his arm they didn’t jump to a replacement. They gave him time to see what he wanted to do. A friend brought a boombox into his room and he noticed he was tapping his feet along to the music. He worked to develop an electric drum kit where his left foot would play what his left arm would play. Their first concert after the accident they brought another drummer in to assist in case Rick couldn’t handle the whole set. The backup was late and they started playing. When he got there he was like “what do you need me for? Rick looks like he’s got it”. Rick Allen is lucky to be alive. He was speeding down a road and lost control of his car. His seatbelt came undone and took off his left arm as he was thrown through the sunroof. Luckily a local nurse, another district nurse and a policeman all stopped to help. The surgeons reattached his arm but it got infected and had to remove it. He does artwork in his spare time. 4:42 look up Phil Collen he still looks like that. He’s on a strict regiment.

Drummer Rick Allen was just 15 when he joined and unfortunately on New Year’s Eve 1984 he took a drive with his girlfriend in his Corvette, got into some sort of road rage incident, has she from another driver and rolled the car several times, he was lucky to survive at all but as the car was rolling he believes his seatbelt somehow got unfastened and tearing his left arm clean off 😢 The album this is taken from was three years in the making partly down to the accident and its consequences. Now how Rick (and the band) viewed this as just a setback is beyond me. How many bands would have said “Rick, we love you, it’s a shame about the arm”, I’m guessing 99 outta 100 but not Def Leppard!! Between them they went about creating some floor pedals and sone clever electronics which allows Rick to play the parts which he would have done with his left arm, with his left foot!! And Def Leppard are still going and are touring in ‘23! And the album Hysteria spawned another 6 singles besides this one and it did ok - Hysteria has sold 20 MILLION + copies Worldwide including 12 MILLION IN USA ALONE!! 🇬🇧🇺🇸🎸

Studio Magic. Seen them live in I think 1987 girlfriend made me take her. My band was more into hard rock like led zeppelin, black Sabbath. Deep purple, But the Singer struggle with the high notes. But it also could have been the constant touring. It will destroy your voice. Also after seeing nothing but hot girls at there concert. I talked my band into covering a few of there songs along with bon Jovi another hot girl band. 😂😂😂😂😅
