This is 15 years old, believe it or not.
Interesting back story. Her tour manager/chief roadie is the brother of Def Leppard's drummer. I would love them to redo this now. The Crossroads concert, I have the DVD BTW, is the performance that made a fan. I loved the expression of sheer joy and awe on her face.
I've got the dvd as well. It was a great show to be honest. Especially loved when they all did Two Steps Behind.....and the guitar solo with Viv, Phil and the guy from Taylor's band. It just had a really cool sound.

So I remember when Def Leppard originally came out with this song, when it was on the radio, MTV, all of that. I had the cassette tape for this album 😂 It’s a big part of my childhood. I never knew about this CMT Crossroads thing. She’s adorable in this. I also have most? of Def Leppard’s discography.

This particular performance isn't part of the Crossroads show. It was just a re-do for some awards show tv broadcast. The Crossroads show was recorded in a much smaller venue and spans approx an hour worth of songs and interviews. Whichvis why the comment in the beginning was mentioning another version of the performance. I agree, the actual Crossroads performances are way better 👌
Cmt music awards show they were nominated for the crossroads show performances but they didn't win I wish they did they deserve the win.

Liked Def Leppard but never liked this song though, lol. I think the only reason Taylor performed with them is because the band's drummer's Dad works for Taylor's 13 Management. Thanks for another reaction.
Actually at the time the Drummer's Brother (Not dad) didn't work for Taylor (13 management) he was hired after the show. At the time he was the tour manager on Tim mcgraw and Faith hill's tour in which Taylor was the opening act.

This is the worst of taylor swift. Omg. She is making a fool of herself AND she CANT sing hard rock! Manager should have been fired! Notice Joe Elliott is keeping his distance. Rightly so!
