CMT Crossroads with Taylor Swift & Def Leppard

- CMT has partnered with Big Machine Records for the first DVD release of its critically-acclaimed series, CMT CROSSROADS, when the episode featuring Taylor Swift and Def Leppard hits stores on Tuesday, June 16.
This is the only crossroads that matters. Every one else can go home!
Wish that Steve Clark was there he would've loved performing with them in case you Swiftes out their don't know about Def Leppard that band has been through so much tragedies in their career in 1981 their original guitar player Pete Willis got fired from the band, then in 1984 their drummer Rick Allen lost his left arm in a car accident he could've quit but he decided to re-learn how to play the drums with his right arm and with his feet barefooted, then in 1991 their lead guitar player Steve Clark died due to alcohol poisoning he was only 30 years old great guitar player, then in 1994 their bass player Rick Savage was diagnosed with bells palsy, then in 2013 their current guitar player Vivian Campbell was diagnosed with lymphoma cancer but Def Leppard are a great band check out some of their stuff!!!!!!!

Taylor Swift said her Mom was a fan of Def Leppard! I wish I was her Mom so I could meet them, especially the handsome and sexy Joe Elliott!!! I have been a fan of the band and had a crush on Joe Elliott since the 1980s!! It is one of the things on the top of my bucket list to meet him and the band but I don’t think it will ever happen!!! Taylor Swift is a great singer!! Lucky girl to share a stage with them!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤

Yea, in the full episode with interviews she mentioned that. Basically one of her roadies was an ex-Def Leppard roadie, so when he heard how much she loved Def Leppard, he pulled out his cellphone and called Joe, then handed the phone to Taylor without word, just "It's for you." They went back and forth a bit on "Who's this?" and then when she realized it wasn't a prank, she lost the ability to speak until she just blurted out "You want to do CMT Crossroads together?"
I had a crush on him for a long time too. Never got to see them though.

I think CMT Crossroads monitors CZcams. I have seen a couple of the songs - in the full version - and then taken down after a few months or so. I bought a copy of the DVD online somewhere for $8.

Dude, The whole show is Amazing, both voices sound perfect togheter, she absolutely can sing and sing more than the country/pop that she does, also leppard can play more than the glam stuff we all are used to hear from they, both are Amazing artists and this is one of the best featuring ever

In Ireland we say crap. Wack sounds so American to me, in fairness she sounds like me in the shower trying to sing karaoke style to the Lepps, but now l have to say, the kid grew up and can hold a tune and can write a proper ear worm....my 9 year old is a Swiftie, I'm not convinced on her stuff, but hey, everyone has their tastes....she's a super star now whether we like it or not, I'm not a Beyonce fan either and l wouldn't call her stuff music, but fans put them to a superstar status.
