I don't know what to say really, for some reason I really like Taylors music, and she seems like a very nice girl. She doesn't have the best voice though, but who needs one if you get to play with Def Leppard anyway?
Def Leppard are such cool guys, and they've always seemed so nice and normal, wich is pretty uncommon for rockers.

they are both amazing! Def is obv. waaay more experienced and perfected, but its sometimes cool to mix things up with old rock and new music. It doesnt mean that theyre gonna form a band together. it was just a collab.

@1badsteed My fav Leppard´s album has always been Pyromania followed by On Through the Night. But nowadays I prefer to listen to Hysteria and some other later hits. But maybe Photograph is my fav Leppard songs of all times! Regards

Regardless, I am still a huge fan of Def Leppard and the Rock N' Roll genre. I was born a Rock fan, raised a Rock fan, and will fo sho die a Rock fan! And since Country Music is no longer country music but Rock N' Roll, then perhaps I can now start listening to country music. No offense to the pure country fans. It's just me...I am a die-hard rock fan!!

Def Leppards best album was High N Dry, followed by On Through The Night and then Pyromania. Hysteria was pop rocks, I loved it, but not as much as their first three.
@bdiemert2 I'll believe that when she's willing to speak her mind on issues that her fans may not like but she truly believes in. When she's willing to lay the career on the line... then I'll believe it.

On through the night a cult album, High 'n dry too edgy even for a metal band(at the exception of Bringing the heartbreak and Switch 625), Pyromania the perfect one for a road trip and Hysteria THE Blockbuster, the album that put the Jovis and the Roses to the MTV map, so praise Def Leppard! On the other hand Adrenalize is lacking of inspiration but Slang is the perfect answer for those who still thing of Lep as a shallow band(what?) with an american sound(excuse me?)...

One needn't even leave THIS thread. Your implication that Def Leppard needed saving after Steve's death is highly insulting to A) Vivian Campbell, who took his place; B) all the members who contributed to songwriting and performing since Steve's passing.
(If anything, the drums were what needed saving after Rick Allen lost his left arm. The fills lost their flash and the drum samples were monotonous.)
Back when Taylor Swift was country singer.
I don't have a problem with this; the Leps were always a commercial band and singing with Taylor Swift can only raise their profile some, which at this stage in their (long) post MTV career they can use.
However, I wasn't impressed with Taylor's singing. I've heard a lot about her but really, this could have been just about any person singing. I saw no chops on her duet on Photograph.
I know Joe Elliot had major fantasies going on in his head during their time together. He was hoping and wishing and Taylor was thinking.............what it would be like too. I loved Def Leppard back in the 80's. Reminds me of some good youthful times.

The song "Photograph" just sounds so wimpy with her singing it. If it's going to be a woman covering it, it needs to be someone with a voice like Pat Benatar in the song "All Fired Up."
She wasn't even 17 when this was recorded and much as I like her, her vocals at that time were her weakest attribute, she didn't have a confident voice. Completely different now. Besides she doesn't need your opinion or mine for that matter.
No @TheWho58, Justin Bebier is a 15 year-old baby who sounds like a chick. And I've never heard of that other person. And I really hope that the best band on Earth won't sink to that level. But im glad that Taylor Swift was joined in. She is really hot and very tallented.
Anyone who thinks Def Leppard is going country I think is absolutely wrong. It's the other way around. Joe Elliot is exactly right by pointing out that today's modern country is no different than the 80's rock. It is, as he says, influenced by the 80's and 90's rock. If you're thinking pure country, then think Garth Brooks, Randy Travis, Clint Black & the likes. Even they too mimic the 80's rock. I remember listening to a country song talking about country music being murdered by rock n' roll.
