funny you mention Steven Tyler and Aerosmith because Steven actually made a guest appearance on the 1989 tour where him and Taylor sang I don't wanna miss a thing together.
Was just about to say this lol
The reason why the live stuff is always better than the studio is because she puts on a whole spectacle. You feel immersed in the experience. She’s a gift
This song %100 about Harry Styles, and I LOVE IT SO MUCH. The bridge is real by the way. Harry and Taylor had a snowcar accident and 20 stitches are cominf from this.
Taylor Swift: "We should've just called it 'I'm Not Even Sorry". Icon.
The reason for this grammy museum talk before the performance, she had just won Album of the year with 1989, and the grammy museum invited her to talk about the making of the tracks of the album to other producers and industry people. She also performed 3 songs acustically one being this song "Out of the woods" on the piano, my favourite version of this song❤
Sometimes she creates melodies and lyrics, and producers help her finish. In this case, Antonoff had the track, so she wrote the song and sent it to him. They are close friends. She also did this with Aaron Dessner, one of the producers of her albums Folklore and Evermore. 1989 is her first pop album; I think you'll enjoy it. The video of out of the woods it's excellent too. I know you don't like videos, but I would try that video, at least 😉
yes she writes all of her lyrics. Honestly its different for every song bc she does get meoldies and writes to them and everything
If you enjoy her live, her Grammy Museum Piano version of this song is....just....well, it gives me chills.
Usually she writes her own music plus lyrics, but there are exceptions (like this song with her friend and producer, Antonoff), and also her work in Evermore and Folkore (Dessner wrote the music, but she contributed to the melodies and wrote the lyrics). That´s what she meant when she said "I´m not used to...". Sometimes she does, but is not her usual process (usually she does all the process with a guitar or a piano plus the lyrics, and also takes a huge role on producing her own song and creating the videos, since long before starting directing and writing them). The first clip is from one of the famous secret listening sessions for fans that she handpicks before launching each album. Thanks for the reaction! Too much Shake it off (yes, i´t s a bop, but still) on the radio at that time and not enough Out of the woods and others for 1989!
About ther live performances, yes, she is always better there (the accoustic concerts are insane too) and... she is constantly twisting her own songs a little or adding surprises. We are talking about the girl who sang Smelly Cat with Lisa Kudrow (Phoebe in Friends) touring THIS album, 1989, the one who exploded, the peak of her career (or so they said back them). Just because why not and she loved Friends (and many people did/does too). Nobody can say she hasn´t got charisma on stage. XD
Was wondering if you realized that this song was sampled on her Midnights album on the song “Question….” It literally starts with the words “I Remember “
1989 is just AMAZING
Don't worry, she is great. All of us are in love with her. Her performaces are powerful and amazing. She works so hard and we love it!!
p.s there is a piano performace of this song and It's is good!!
She spoke to a group of studio engineers in Nashville, I believe, about the recording and production of her entire 1989 album. I love that she was a room full of music dudes who are the best of the best and they are hanging on her every word.
This is one of Taylor's greatest songs, and this is one of your best reactions! (and yes, this is 100% without a doubt about Harry Styles)
He's a swif now instead of swi so we're getting close to full swifty lmao
Getting the audience into the actual performance by giving them those notes to sing, is just another fascinating way that she tries to bring the audience in personally to her performances. She has to go down as one of the most prolific live performers ever.
Yall are awesome reactors! I've been following yalls taylor reactions since day 1. I will be going to the Eras Tour and it'll be my first time seeing her live so I'm over the moon with excitement. Keep up the great content guys!
You rock!
One of my favorites with an awesome bridge!
1989 is amazing! It deserved its AOTY for sure.
You have to try the acoustic Version of this Song at the Grammy Museum. It's totally different but also wonderful.
Jack Antonoff made the music track and she added the lyrics and melody. Before this song, she had never done that.
This song is one of my fave from 1989 (A). So many great songs from this album and I’m still listening to these songs religiously till today. Again, thank you for the video.
Taylor did both the lyrics and the melody. This was the Sydney concert in 2015.
Nice job, fellas! Knew Ryan's jaw would drop, and it did😄Living to see even Nathan say he feels 'part of the family' now. And mega thanks to Tau (sp?) for sending you guys such classics!
Yes! Thank you!
You two should react to style as well!! So much amazing Taylor content you guys have yet to discover! I look forward to seeing more Taylor on the channel
Harry had a paper airplane necklace, Taylor got one too (gift or she bought one, not sure), but anyways you will see that necklace in the Out of the Woods video.
She is utterly mesmerizing as a live performer. It's not just how attractive she is it's more about how she puts her whole heart and soul into the show. She and the audience setup this weird metaphysical energy feedback loop. Especially now during the Eras tour not only the best songwriter working today but she has developed into probably the best live act on earth.
I fucking love this performance. My fave bridge
The candian "sorry" is just so..... 😁
sorry
Epic performance and great reaction. She definately pulls you in. Stay safe guys❤
This was one if not the best, live performance she ever did! Thank you for the reaction
She writes and creates every single song. Jack is a musician and a producer, Taylor gave him a chance when no one would. Taylor is the one driving every decision, song, record, she comes with most of the work done. She is a musician and songwriter before anything else and that’s why it clicks with Jack, and A few producers she selected herself specifically and she knows what she wants and she can produce alone. She knows a lot, like a lot!
Truly a good performer and a good person , talented and good lyricist and vocalist .We appreciate you guys for your honest opinions.
This was fantastic and my fav song by Taylor! 🔥..wish she would have done it at the eras tour. 😢 She is everything!!! Just an incredible woman!!
the music vid is also a masterpiece
Definitely an earlier reaction. Glad y’all explained it to them. 🥰Love your reactions.
❤️❤️❤️
You should also watch the music video, it's a masterpiece!
I honestly forgot about this performance . . . Lol . . . How say kinda speaks. instead of songs out, the bridge towards the end . . . WOW!! 🤯😁😅
Aaah yeees please react to the whole of 1989! It’s pop perfection 🎉
She was 25 in the live performance. WOW
I CAN SEE YOU. You guys should become Swifties. Im sure your CZcams channel would explode. Seems to me you guys have tons of fun;)
I think we are swifties now
There is a 1989 Tour you can watch.
9 MORE DAYS UNTIL ERAS TOUR!!!! I’m driving my ass to az alone cuz my friends are losers lol... but I’ve never been more excited for a concert. And I know that even though I’m arriving by myself, I’ll leave with new friends!
The 1989 tour is on CZcams its 2 hrs. Wish you guys would do it
taylor swift writes every single one of her songs
Well, lots of songs on Folklore were also writing to track. Songs where Aaron listed as co-writer also written to track. There is an IG post from well before Folklore was even conceived that Aaron is playing the music for what will become Invisible String.
@@sirsimonthesentry4787 that's what i said, she's writes her songs. having co writers is fine. she also has more than 50 self written songs(released). and about folklore and evermore..i already know that
React to her 1989 Sydney tour , it's just awesome 💜💜
We did :)). On our patreon it’s all there
React to Style, please
You guys should check out Highway Don’t Care performance from ACM awards 2013.
It's rare to see a Star like Taylor that can own a stadium so completely like that. Just completely EPIC!
Have you seen the music video AND making of the music video?
No to both
You realize there's new Metallica out right? Lol
Yep ! We reacted to the first 2 singles ! Check it out :)
