It's 440C steel. Not to be confused with 440 a or b... Whatever the other ones are. Apparently 440c has a lot more carbon and holds an edge much better. 440c still is actually a very good steal. I like it a lot.
They got this at the corner store by my house for 40 bucks I think I'm going to buy this and the cold steel koyto 2 and I'll be a good little combo together I wish more companies did modern takes on historic knives
I just purchased two of the MTech tantos from Amazon. They were BOTH bent/warped. Returned them both. Extremely disappointed. I know I will never purchase anything Mtech in the future.
