Here is your chance to WIN Ninebot max front fork suspension. Check out this video on how to enter. czcams.com/video/uVxDjK--6sw/video.html
And good luck. :)
Nice, thanks for the vid again.
nice one thanks same I've got ninebot
Welcome. :)
thanks for video
Most welcome
As that is the same style as normal motorbike forks they will be oil filled to dampen the internal spring. You will need to watch for oil on the silver part of the shock as it may mean the fork seals are starting to fail. I do prefer this style over the cantilever style of the other company.
Great video bud.
Thank you :).
There is a little bit of grease that gets past the seat. But it’s to be expected. Just like a engine piston would allow a tiny amount. And theses are not designed to the same standards :)
Can you adjust the spring for soft I'm 60 kg
thanks for the review. The suspension is supposed to absorb the shock to reduce back pain. Do you find it working as it is intended?
I find it does help. The problem is the rear end. But don’t worry. I have a solution for that soon I hope ;)
Hi I’ve seen this unit but says it’s only good for 75kg? Is this correct? Thanks and great videos, keep it up. I’ve put 550km on my G30 so far.
I think when I bought it it showed it was good for 90/100kg. However, not being tested properly by the public it’s difficult to tell.
Thank you for your kind words :).
Are you planning on making an install video of the suspension? I think you mentioned something about making one?
Anssi Salo that is coming tomorrow. :).
Hy againe ;) You say oil, but it is spring loaded. Open the Caps on top and screw out the Bolt. You can change and adjust the spring for soft or hard if you want.
Prinz Eric thanks for that. Some people have mentioned there’s also oil in there too. I will take it apart to have a look at some point. Or if it breaks I definitely will haha
Surprising to see I came back here after watching this video these months ago, reckon it’s worth buying this suspension for the back & rear? Comes to around £55 delivered for both
If you are looking to have cheap suspension that you need to keep an eye on, then it's worth it. :)
Thanks! could you give the rear suspension for m365 a try. it is found so far in aliexpress.
I’m guessing it’ll work with the max just fine?
Hey. can you write whether it is worth buying a shock absorber? how is the quality? I look from Ukraine, I don't understand the language! Thanks!!!
no
Sorry for the delay. I actually found for my weight at 80-85kg it’s perfectly fine.
Hi, just asking, will the front and back suspension make the warranty invalid?
Cheers
I guess you would have to check your local region. However, I believe this will afffect your warranty.
@@ScootLetsGo ok thank you very much
I saw that you are very professional, from how they talk about it they say that the monorim is better, but i don't think, this is a real motorcycle style fork, maybe it's because many don't know how to adjust it well or have some factory defect, however i am waiting for your opinion on both, there is no video around on the comparison between the two type forks with pros and cons...
Thank you :).
I’m saving up for the Monorim version so that I can show you guys. I’m just pretty reluctant to purchase something that looks worse than this one haha.
I will have to bite the bullet on this one and just get it.
@@ScootLetsGo Yes, even in my opinion the fork is better and not the monorim, a good thing would be to try the rear suspension with a spring for sale on AliExpress...
I was thinking about the rear suspension. Just not convinced on having to drill holes in the rear. There should be one that doesn’t require that level of customisation :)
@@ScootLetsGo For the Xiaomi there is for the Ninebot i don't know, the one for Xiaomi does not need holes, it uses the holes in the fender and the wheel...
I’m not sure if there’s one for max like that. I check every so often.
Maybe it´s possible to shorten the Standpipes. Old Motorcycle Trick for a better look and lowering the Bike :-)
Fr. B. Problem is that would take away my clearance haha.
@@ScootLetsGo okay? Clearance for what? Doing Motocross ;-) ?
Fr. B. Haha. I have some very bumpy terrain they I use my scooter on. And it grounds often. So that extra clearance has helped a little
@@ScootLetsGo ;-) I´ve better road conditions here. I need clearance only when I hit a Dog or little childs, thats not too often anymore now ;-)
Fr. B. Got the hang of it then? Hahaha.
Hm, now I'm being puzzled...
Why’s that?
@@ScootLetsGo, Thank you for the quick answer!
Idk should I get it or not, as I'm about to order it on AliExpress. Just want to smoothen the bumps, those when you cross from a sidewalk to a road, there's always an edge that makes it hard to cross over. I usually stop to walk the scoot over. Do you think the fork is sufficient to absorb it? I'm a bit heavier than you.
A second thing is that you said that the fork is not sitting perfect and moves a bit (if I got it right), so do you think this may cause any damage to the scoot or affect safety?
I think the suspension will absorb it. It’s fairly cheap so it be the best quality. But will definitely help. And it’s caused no damage to my scooter and I took mine off-road a fair bit
@@ScootLetsGo, Thank you, I'll get it, and it's really not expensive to give it a try.
If it doesn’t work out. You’ll always be able to sell it on :)
Slllooooowwwwww lol
Slow?
jumping on it and see is moving doesnt proove anything.
As I said in the video. It’s purely showing the suspension travel.
