- El legendario concierto de "Queen en Budapest", perteneciente al "Magic Tour" del verano 86', fue publicado en 1987, en VHS. Su primera emisión a nivel mundial, fue de la mano de Euskal Telebista, el 3 de Junio de 1988 (al menos, no tengo noticia de que fuera emitido en otra tv, anteriormente). La version televisiva duraba 60 minutos, con respecto a los 90 ' que duraba el VHS original.
La chica rubia que acompañaba a Freddie en su visita por la ciudad, es Mary Austin. Era muy dulce, la manera en que ambos se miraban ... En la intro, podíamos escuchar aquel "Tavaszi szél vizet áraszt"; una canción tradicional infantil hungará, que Freddie quiso dedicar al público magiar... Muchisimos recuerdos de ver el concierto en aquella inolvidable noche( hace 30 años). Esa intro me parecio "mágica" (nunca mejor dicho). Yo era un crio en aquella época y me encantó esa canción ...
The legendary Queen concert in Budapest for their "Magic Tour", which took place in the summer of 1986, was released on VHS in 1987. It was broadasted for the first time in Basque Television (Spain) the 3rd of June, 1988 (at least, I didn't know if it was broadcasted or not, in another tv channel, earlier). The tv version lasted around 60 minutes, while the vhs was 90 minutes long.
The blonde girl who appears with Freddie, in his visit to the city, is Mary Austin. The way that they looked each other was so sweet... In the intro we can heard the hungarian traditional children song "Tavaszi szél vizet áraszt"; a poignant track that Freddie dedicated as a present to all the hungarian fans... Jim was really bitter because Mary did not let him stays in the Garden Lodge and ofcourse Freddie left her so much...but Freddie left something for him too..how can he be not grateful for it..He was just so jealous of Mary...but if Jim really loves Freddie it wouldnt matter.
Mary has a really good reason for not letting them to stay in the Garden lodge because first its her house now and secondly she would have not able to keep the secret of freddie's ashes if there is someone there whou would always wonder and ofcourse Jim would do...
We don´t know everything. It´s possible that Freddie told Jim about were he wanted to be buried too. Freddie didn´t want someone to dig up his ashes I think he thought of fans. If he was buried in the garden of The Garden Lodge he needed someone he could trust who lived there. He probably thought Jim would die after a few years and maybe Jim wanted to go back to Ireland after Freddies death. We will never know what Freddie would have done if Jim had been healthy.

Magic Tour. 1986. The last Queen's tour.
July 1986. The concert was exactly on 27.07.1986. My father was at the time in Budapest, but he wasn't on the show.
I just want to know whether or not it’s true that Mary gave two of Freddie’s cats to a shelter instead of giving them to Jim, who’d wanted them very badly. Why do this to any of Freddie’s beloved babies?!
Later down the road the last two added to the house were 'rehomed'...not to a shelter...she inherited all his cats AND had hers...so ultimately too many cats
she did...and that was against his last wishes. In Grief and maybe hurt ...who knows you had to be in her head.
Freddie left her all the cats. She gave up (according to Freestone) the 2 youngest ones. We don't know her reasons but lets not forget she had her own cats by the time plus a toddler and a new born baby. We'll never know her reason because of course it's a private decision.
Lori Reece I heard the band had to evict her from one of the homes after Freddie died because she turned into one nasty bitch. The band members always had Freddie's back and had a special bond that stronger than blood brothers. They all loved each other and looked out for one another which is very rare for band mates that spend so much time together. Mary is not his first love. It was another girl from his school if I'm not mistaken. Mary is just the one that was around at the time of Queen becoming what a band and going out on the road making money playing to sold out venues.
rob peters she’s the one to whom Freddie left his fortune and his own ashes. And by the way, the band never evicted her from anything. Freddie’s homes (NY/London/Switzerland) are HERS.

Mary was his “beard” that’s all. She admitted it took her 3 years to fall in love with him. That’s just about the time he began making his $$$. She was a nasty person who after Freddie’s death turned into a monster. Listen To Peter Freestone’s interview in Italy last month where he says he is often asked who Freddie loved more and he says that once Freddie met Jim he felt he had met his true partner and Jim was the true love of his life. He also said that he had plenty of opportunity to be with Mary if he wanted to. People just don’t want to except the fact she was part of the game in trying to hide the fact that he was gay from the public because if he had come out in that time period it would’ve ruined the lives of so many including the band members. Also you’ll be able to find the note on the Internet that Freddie wrote Jim saying he’s never been so happy in this life and also how they went to go visit two other people and each thank you note is signed love Freddie & Jim in Freddie’s own handwriting.
I think leaving his own ashes (besides 100 million dollars was a little too much for a simple"beard"as you say.... (sarcasm).
