/ queenofficial - Hudba
I've always believed that this video was Freddie's way of telling all of us goodbye and that he loved us all.
According to a story I just read from the director of the video, that is completely accurate.
Makes me so sad I'm bout to cry
I just read something by a close friend of his that confirmed that very thing. That last "I still love you" that he whispered at the end of the song was for the fans.
He was actually very sick while making this video and having terrible pain from open sores on his body due to the AIDS virus. But you wouldn’t have known it, the director said he fought through it to leave on his terms.
@@ruadhrose Wow, he sure was a legend and an inspiration.

Stupid thing to say.
The incredible thing is that even when he was terminally ill Freddie could still sing better than most of us when we're in top condition.
Jonathan Kennedy amazing man he was !!!
IKR he was amazing
Truly brother
Brian said that he was in so much pain during this time. He had wounds that would not heal, all those tumors (which I forget there real name) and it was just hard for him to stand. Brian May said that Freddie would take a couple shots, drag himself up with the mic and sing. He literally died doing what he loved and this video makes me want to cry due to how brave of him to even make this video and looking as sick as he did. Freddie tried to hid it with make up and that’s also why it’s in black and white as well. We don’t get to see much of that anymore which is saddening tbh
They were leisions, not tumors. Tumors are what you have when you have cancer. Freddie had AIDS. Which destroys your immune system and your body deteriorates while you’re still alive.
I saw the movie today. can't get Queen and Freddie out of my head.

Me too. I have always enjoyed their music. After the movie I can't stop listening. Brilliant Band. Freddie....gone too young. ❤

When he looks into the camera (and our souls) and whispers "I still love you" my heart breaks into a million pieces. Oh Freddie, we still love you too and we miss you more than words can say.
It's said that those were his last words on film
Gary Chambers It sadly was :(
She stood by him till the end.
This whole video is sad just seeing how bad Freddie looked in it.
Janey Jester when Freddie Mercury said “I still love you” he said it to Jim Hutton who was there behind the camera not to Mary Austin
His last video and appearance. You can see the toll AIDS was taking on him yet he chose to keep fighting and preforming to bring happiness to his fans.
I used to be homophobic until I learned about Freddie and the impact he had on so many lives it made me reconsider myself and now im much more positive and happier knowing we are all just humans trying to survive in a rough world.

Hola 👋
I’ve got goosebumps watching it right now.
Right here…
I know Roger wrote this for his kids, but my god this was the perfect goodbye for Fred
Well one of his band mates said that in a way this was Freddie's goodbye he was taking from us too early.
😢😢😢
Roge did say that although he wrote this for his kids, the song took on a different, unspoken meaning. One that needed no explanation.
“Goodbye..” in song. ❤️
'These are the days of our lives' is the song roger wrote that your referring to
Happens a lot. If you listen to some Alice In Chains songs while Layne Staley was dying, Down in a Hole was written by Jerry Cantrell, but watch the unplugged version and tell me Layne isn’t making it his song...
Here I am in 2024. Missing the original band as much as ever. Freddie was one of a kind.

@Reo Tries that's not true. Brian said he was too ill to complete it. So Brian completed it. But Freddie died 6 months later.
He was so sick, and he knew his time was coming to an end, so he told the boys " I want to do as much as possible ", so they recorded at all hours of the day and night to accommodate how Freddie was feeling. This song is beautiful, but when you think of the circumstances, it makes it that much more special !!!

Sometimes I get to feelin'
I was back in the old days, long ago
When we were kids, when we were young
Things seemed so perfect, you know?
The days were endless, we were crazy, we were young
The sun was always shinin', we just lived for fun
Sometimes it seems like lately, I just don't know
The rest of my life's been, just a show
Those are the days of our lives
The bad things in life were so few
Those days are all gone now but one thing is true
When I look and I find I still love you
You can't turn back the clock, you can't turn back the tide
Ain't that a shame?
Ooh, I'd like to go back one time on a roller coaster ride
When life was just a game
No use in sitting and thinkin' on what you did
When you can lay back and enjoy it through your kids
Sometimes it seems like lately, I just don't know
Better sit back and go, with the flow
These are the days of our lives
They've flown in the swiftness of time
These days are all gone now but some things remain
When I look and I find, no change
Those were the days of our lives, yeah
The bad things in life were so few
Those days are all gone now but one thing's still true

The lorax.....
That's a great positive quote, I'll remember it.
@@alazyfrog5969 Eh, it's a common one, but not exactly a meaningful one. If someone's feeling like shit, they won't exactly feel compelled to smile and feel happier just by reflecting on things. It just reminds them of what they've lost, possibly forever.
@@floppysquid2036 yer if you can only thing negatively lol
@@davewilco822 No one can be expected to feel instant positivity and gratitude when the opposite was true a moment ago. We're humans, not robots. Things come in stages.
Who’s listening in may 2024🥲
OMG I can still remember when I found out. I was at work, I cried to the point where I was literally hyperventilating & when a coworker came to make sure that I was ok and all I could say was that Freddie died like I personally knew him
Sick or not sick .. Freddie Mercury Will always be the most stunning beautiful man I have ever seen.
He refused to take medical treatment instead risked his health and life to make more music for his fans til the end came! :(
The Bus Photographer Of California he refused what treatment? They didn't have a treatment for him when he got sick. Cut your shit.
@@tequilashots875 get ur shit right. A true fan knows that he quit taking meds that would help him. The only thing he continued to take was pain medicine

Love of my life: “ To remind you how I still love you, I still love you...”

Se me puso la piel de gallina !!gracias Freddy por tanto❤inolvidable 😢!!!
the subtle regret and deep nostalgia in this song is just heartbreaking
"You can't turn back the clock, you can't turn back the time"
Hoping we could so we could bring you back
...
This comment made me cry..but it's so true
You don't need to, he's immortal. He might have passed but he will live longer than any of us.
The lyric is 'you can't turn back the tide' not turn back the time
Colene Olleres one day we will invent a backwards time machine or something to bring people who have passed away back, and Freddie will be first on our list
