I pit this as a joke and started an arguement ._. I'm not saying that he was wrong to say that but if we're talking lore-wise then no, it was wrong to say that since the undead that sided with the Horde and hate the Lich King, and there is Calia who was raised by a Naaru and is seen with the Alliance, but she isn't unfriendly or overly friendly to either side.

You know what would be a really cool addition to this? Adding a pair of pulsing white-blue LEDs and putting some dry ice into the eye sockets so that they would emit that eerie glow and fog coming out of them. Imagine how cool and creepy that would be...

I'm not a WoW or Warcraft player, but the appearance of this weapon has always impressed me. It's a perfect example of an evil fantasy sword. Alicia deserves a medal for the sheer amount of work put into that hilt. The whole thing is an impressive piece of craftsmanship, but, as Tony said, that hilt is the main reason they haven't made this thing before now. Well done all around.

The floating orb is basically impossible to make. They'd either have to omit the orb, or merge the orb and blade together. It just wouldn't work.

Lore fact, nerds: After defeating Arthas in the Frozen Throne Sylvanas decided to end her life (or her afterlife) so she threw herself from the Frozen Throne. She had no goal to achieve anymore, since Arthas was gone. She ended up in a terrible place; in hell. Valkyir (100% right I'm spelling that wrong - you know the dead angels that used to throw the best DPS from the Throne unless you damaged them) teamed up with Sylvanas and one of them (the most powerful one) took her place in hell instead of her. So Sylvanas is now really a Lich King - she wants to live forever and she has ability to raise dead. Oh, Sylvanas died since her WotLK death once - but this time three valkyir went to take her place in hell.

Frostmourne will by far remain the most awesome sword in any game and fantasy story, and what better character to wield it than Arthas? Blizzard did such a well job on the sword, the story and Man At Arms did definitely deliver too.

Okay, first a disclaimer: I can give you names from makers that I like. Most of them make knives, the majority makes big knives. They do make swords and axes too. Im trying to become one myself so I do a lot of research. I can`t give you a full list here, will take too much space, there are more makers today than in the middle-ages. Give me your e-mail If you are really interested and I send you names and pictures, as well websites and forums when you can learn more. Take care.

these ppl make real blades with cosmetics. warglaive is a mythical blade with the shape of the crescent moon, also immpossible to handle + it requires vfx

Technically frostmourne was used during the undead campaign during Wc3, and the undead race joined with the Horde in WoW. So it fits.

What you said made no sense. If part of the scourge broke off to join the horde... wouldn't that mean part of the scourge is part of the horde...? In wc3, it wasn't called Arthas campaign, or Lichking campaign, it was called undead campaign. Guess what, the undead are apart of the horde. There was even a mission were you played as Sylvanas with the scourge units in wc3. Those very same units are the ones who joined the horde in WoW.

My youngest nephew at the time thought it was a Japanese sword due to the rune inscription on the front.

***** There's the pole, the spike at the rear end, the long serpent blade and the viper that wrapps around it. That's a bit more than was on Jamie Lannister's or Sephiroth's sword.
I really like that you guys have started going into more detail like explaining what investment casting involves and whatnot. It really made me appreciate more what it took to make the final product. Awesome as always, guys/gals.
Also, I know this would take forever to make, but if you could somehow make Dante's scythe from Dante's Inferno that would be freakin' amazing.

As much as I love Frostmourne, I'd love to see The Ashbringer from warcraft.
Frostmourne is more heavily known today but back in the days of WoW this was THE sword of legend in the game.
I made my own version of it out of wood back in school and even gave it the 'hovering' disc part pretty well but I would love too see a proper version of it.
Yeah, ashbringer was less known, but I'm not sure why. Wasn't ashbringer supposed to be the ultimate blade, and only he who wielded it could take down the lich king? I thought that was the story, but I don't remember.

Frostmourne played a big role in Warcraft 3, it was always the most known weapon in the series.
I agree it should be made but, how are they supposed to make the hovering, glowing circle thing on the blunt side of the blade?? :D
Also I don't think its the ultimate weapon, coz I assume the only reason it broke Frostmourne is because Tirion infused with all his divine might.

re-watching these old Tony Swatton episodes really paints a stark contrast to the BaltKnife's forging philosophies: Tony gets there with economy of parts and effort. Ilya will get there through the most roundabout way just to up the challenge rating.

Shaun Dewey And a great asset too sylvanas is indeed. In fact so valuable they are that every sentence they utter ends with "death to the living". Last I checked, orcs nad taurens and trolls were living. She is just using the horde and when the time comes she'll just ditch them like some trash.

Stelios Kontos if they would do that, I would recommend not to try make the glowing part. it would'nt look good since you cant simulate that, for example the Halo Energy Sword or Bilbo's Sting (The Hobbit)
