Tim they are notorious about not doing just that. Some of cast had to pretty much steal certain lesser props that they wanted

No power tools, just teams of slaves/apprentices.
@IHCTerra They have to start somewhere, the masters would have been assistants to someone else first.
@@MaxwellAerialPhotography The master smiths would still do a lot of the work themselves, doubly so if it were for a wealthy benefactor...don't want an apprentice to mess up Lord neckbreaker's sword after all.

Actually , depending on the place , there would have been specializing .One person does the blade , another the handle , another the guard .And there were guilds to help .

Make the Valyrian steel dagger that was used to try to kill Bran in Season 1 of Game of Thrones which he gave to Arya in season 7.
Of all the weapons I've seen on GoT, that's the one I'd want to own.

Man At Arms, you guys do a lot of recreation swords, giant swords, functional replicas and fantasy weapons. I wanna see you guys create a high-performance sword. *The best sword Baltimore Knife and Sword have ever made.* Top of the line steel, distal tapers, perfect centres of percussion, good edge retention (maybe differential tempering?), razor sharp (i.e. will shave you), solid construction, original engraving and art designs, good blade geometry, excellent point of balance, a protective pommel, ergonomic pommel letting you feel your edge alignment, of course the pommel construction will be on point as always, a good flex to take the strain of impact (HEMA or Kendo consultants for the feel of the blades? I dunno...), durable overall fit and construction and basically make the most perfect sword you guys ever have. Call it, "At the Man's Arm," or "the Perfect Sword," or "Awe." I think it would be an awesome challenge, from forging to grinding, to material sourcing.

illya should write a book on metalworking kinda like for dummies because a lot of people are now interested in blacksmithing because of this show and to read a book by someone we trust and can see his work would be amazing

I don't know why, but I absolutely fell in love with this sword. I don't even watch the show but this is the most beautiful man-made thing I've seen in my life. Seriously.

The most impressive thing about this build is how the smaller fullers are positioned EXACTLY where the two different types of metal touch.
Man At Arms, to continue the Game of Thrones theme, I think Dawn, the sword wielded by Sir Arthur Dayne would be a phenomenal episode
Yeah... I doubt they care about the book swords. Don't get me wrong, I wish they would make more from the books too, but they won't.
@Leo Carlo Aguilar I realize that the character was in the show. But no mention or focus was made on the sword. A passing glance perhaps, but that is all. The books pay much more attention to detail, but I guess that is the nature of the beast. A sward seen at a glance in the show has very little chance of being noticed by a channel like this one.

And we saw it wielded.. great fight scene/swordsmanship, nothing special or stand out worthy blade wise

How they forge the Mountain's gauntlets
Can you make a medieval sword but with only medieval technology? I think it would be really interesting to see you make a sword with no power hammers or grinders. Make it all pretty though with Fuller's and a fancy pommel just to see all your skill and technique.

They still had grinders... they where just trundle gears and different grades of rock. The amount of technical knowledge their blacksmith would make this an easy challenge for them i believe. Would be cool to see tho

When ilya swung it down at the dummy head, I figured it'd get stuck. I was NOT expecting it to go all the way through! That sword could probably split a man right down the middle! Well done Man At Arms team!

I really liked that little interaction between Illya and Matt. It was funny and showed that they are good friends. Haha I wish there were more interactions between everyone. Also I just love how goofy everyone is being. Kerry making the face and Matt talking to himself. xD
This was my first episode. I was just looking for a story about Ice in a lore video and then I got more than that when I watched this. now I'm hooked you keep making the things I wanna swing. And hopefully I will earn enough to own my own.

I was just thinking about this one earlier today. The problem is that if they try to make the one from the movie, I'd cry. The up side is that if they just follow the book, they are only limited by their imagination of how a Dragon Rider's sword should look.

Black knight sword would be the best one, there's no way they are making the fume. Gwyns maybe. If they make another dark souls build it should be either the onyx blade, the profaned greatsword or valorheart
actually, look closely, it is in fact a blade, if you look at the top you can see its bladed, and there are some gravings up there too, not sure what it is meant to be. and then the rest of the sword looks like it is old rusted or maybe even corrupted. it does look a bit like stone yeah.

Nah it's just a slab of stone, doesn't even have an edge apart from the top

This sword is way better and more handsome than I remembered it being. The whole blade is dark, like proper Valyrian steel from the books

mygamingisepic I think they keep them around, or at least they used to. Sometimes older builds appear in newer ones like when Cloud's sword appeared in the Sephiroth build
they cant sell them due to copyright. most likely they keep them or maybe give them to their respective companys or something like that
How about some Warframe love? So many weapons to choose from but a challenge episode between a couple of people on Dual Kamas or Dual Heat Swords would be pretty neat
