I'd love to see these guys each make a sword THEY designed, and see them make something truly unique to the blacksmith forging it!
they can desing a lot of weapons thou, if they dont have a preference, they dont have to be like one preference above all...
how about just a weapon in general instead of just swords
that would be great too. I'd just love to see what they'd make
They do it every so often. The pirates one recently they made 3
you can see Ilya Alekseyev make some bad ass stuff in the show "Forged in Fire" only one episode though...
Ilya's nickname should be Hephaestus
well he would make his swords out of steel instead of bronze so he would be considered a god
Benen Azer Ήφαιστος it's the Greek name 😉
Yeah, but we refer to it as Hephaistos (other spelling as well) for the Greek deity, as Vulcan is the Roman equivalent!
Typing with a greek keyboard is tricky
Or Vulcan
Anton Andales lets settle on Spock. ;)
17:30 for a moment there, I thought he was going to say" and wonder women is gonna get her God-Damn sword" o.o
dennisvergel36 I thought the same!!!!!! 🤣🤣🤣
omg! Im not the only one thinking that lol
I already have it now I just need to put it in the fire bring it out and bang then the fire again and bang until the sword is sharp until the edge is splendid yes
Ilya: "Voom. Vo-vo-voom. Voom." perfectly explaining what the wrap will be. *applause*
I really LOVE this series. would be so sad if they ever stop
We certainly hope it never does!
you all did a wonderful job. It is amazing how you guys made all those weapons, with a time limit, and they still are super amazing.
Thanks!
Do Thanos' Infinity gauntlet please :D
I'd like to see them reproduce Ilya's armoring hammer that has the dragon carved into the top. Seriously, that is one hardcore tool!
Please make Legolas's twin swords from lord of the rings
Can we get an episode on Ilya's tools?
Also, has Ilya been on "Forged in Fire" yet?
He has. Season 2, Episode 4. Spiked Shield. Guess who won?
So that was him, I didn't make the connection. Wonder if someday they can do a shop vs shop final challenge style special. Maybe the Stagner shop versus that shop that has had like 3 winners and a second.
I like that idea. I'm late to the FiF party but I binge watched most of it this year. I would love to see teams compete rather than single bladesmiths for at least a few challenges if not whole episodes, but I also don't think I would enjoy the show if it were edited for even more drama versus seeing the technical side. That's just me, though. I'm more about the metalwork aspect.
You splooshed at his Japanese styled hammer too, didn't you? In an early episode, he said that he makes a lot of tools himself, like his chisels. IIRC, he made the hammer too. But I would also like a tooltime tuesday or something like that from everyone, also the sculptors, they often have great little hacks that amateurs overlook.
Black Panther's Retractable Vibranium Claw Gloves !!
I
Why is the instrumental music so emotional? Your creations already have me sobbing but the instrumental music is making my tear ducts into Niagra Falls!
SHOVEL KNIGHTS SHOVEL BLADE!!!
This would be amazing!
Robin's sword from injustice 2
Kacper Wróbel which one of them
The default one, i guess.
Absolutely glorious! This one truly shows all the hard work and different talants combined for a whole project! So nice! 😁👍🏻
Please make Deadpool’s twin katanas! aka; his “golden girls” - Bea and Arthur 😎👍🏻💕
Ulysses
🤤🤤
@@gonzzalito. Huh
I'm Matt, I'm Karry, and we are the Stagmer brothers of Llya's Knife and Sword
seriously though
ChickenPhobia It really is Matt and Ilya who do most of the work forging and grinding the swords
John 117 yeah but what's a blade without a handle. they wouldn't have any detail without Lauren and farrence other wise all they're blades handles would be sanded out of wood or leather wrapped which is too basic
Heelo There's nothing wrong with a simple handle. Form should follow function, and a lot of the time, these handles are too complex for proper indexing and use. Keeping it simple not only looks good, but works good too.
guyver48 still they get more views buy going out of they're way to make a good sword with lots of detail on the handle.
I agree Brisingr or Zar'Roc from the Eragon book series would be sweeeet! :)
Ryan Oates please
Ryan Oates pleeeeeeeeease I really need to see brisingr made by those genius
Specifically the books. Not the awful one from the Movie
We don't talk about the movie. Also how can they make the sword cos there's no official image of it.
Ryan Oates yes i love his sword
Now you need a lasso, tiara, bracelets and armored boots to complete the set. For a warrior, Wonder Woman sure has a lot of accessories. Superman just wears a leotard and a cape.
One could argue that she doesn't have enough considering shes very lightly armored and has far less than a medieval knight would and she isn't bullet proof
Well... to be fair, Superman IS his weapons. He doesn't need accessories.
He doesn't even need armor. He's the Man of Steel!
But not all heroes wear capes... some just hold the door
Well that's girls for u
@@einflinkeswiesel2695 : please, that was so sad
PLEEASE do a Narnian weapon?
Man at Arms drinking game: drink whenever they say "true" or "trued up".
that sounds dangerous.
Man... That could kill someone! xD
Almost as deadly as the Smurf game!!
Then you would have to drink five times mate. :D
Alex Bubblemint or whenever the subtitles get Ilya’s name wrong XD
Each one of you should try to make professional chefs knife and invite some real chefs to test them
YES
love the idea
Bring in chef Hiroyuki Terada Diaries of a Master Sushi Chef
Yes u guys should make professional knives and chefs test them
We talked to Mark Dacascos back when he hosted the show about just this idea. It would really be a lot of fun. Everyone at the shop likes the idea of a kitchen knife build and maybe a cook off demo.
I like it when they show the finish product and the music goes on. Epicness
Love it when Ilya wears his hair down! This show is awesome! Been watching since the first season!
Samurai Jacks Sword Please :-)
Hanru Louw omg yesssss
Hanru Louw oh yeah !
Agreed. Do it in honor of the final season! :D
Kurikara from Ao no Exorcist (or Blue Exorcist)
YESSS! I LOVED THAT ANIME!!
I would love that
cool
Can you do Percy Jackson's sword? Or Magnus Chase's sword???
Yes!!! Do it
Yes do it
Yeah
How old remake the sword two differen Jaden
t
Riptide is a medium length xiphos while I don’t think that the type of sword Jack is was ever explicitly stated other than that he’s double edged and can talk
Make Riptide! Percy's sword
Brisingr please. It would be awesome!
The ultimate challenge: Blade of Olympus from God of War II and III !
Bruno Franks I would love to see that
i would like to see that soooooo match
This would be awesome!
How cool that you got Peter Jackson to do carve the pieces for the bronze casting! Man of many talents!
Love to see you do all the three main highlander swords and maybe do a two part so you can give oth the blades and detail carving they deserve
Rurouni Kenshin Reverse Blade Sword
Glad I'm not the only person who wants to see this made.
i know
seanstahly i think shishio's sword with the toothed edge would be more interestingo to see, and if they can figure out some way to make the flame slash that would be pretty awesome
theyve made like 10 katanas.... why make another one and sharpen the back side?
seanstahly yes brother I want to see that too
Damn, that's hot!! Can you guys make the Dawnbreaker from Skyrim?!?
Garrett Boneberg Wuuthrad!
Garrett Boneberg ghostblade!
yes wuuthrad
Or the Glass Sword. Or ANYTHING from Elder Scrolls!
They made the Daedric Axe
Come on, they've done the shield, the sword... now they need to do the arm guards
They're called vambraces
Hey you guys are awesome! I have an interest in blade smithing from watching history Channel' s " forged in fire". I learned so much about the process of forging that I probably wouldn't know otherwise. Your material is a lot like theirs , only cooler! I do have a request: prince zen wistaria' s sword from snow white with the red hair!
That is one sexy forging Hammer for the Blade
Ilya makes such amazing things. He uses this hammer every day in the shop.
You too rock that Ponytail :D Good Job Guys
Tristi its high noon
Talking about the dragon one?
I want them to make video just about the hammer!
Brisingr or za'rock from the eragon series
Worthy of a goddess! Wow. One of the best work did on that show.
Omg!! thank you for this amazing episode.
You could make the sword of Percy Jackson (Anaklusmos) please!!!
Eduarda Wandermuren Thompson Up
"Riptide" for those who did not know.
up
Yes! Make Riptide! And Luke's sword backbiter
+++++
watching these guys work is like watching poetry in motion
soo true, this is art
That's not the god killer Diana... You are.
Hard work really payed off. Nice job!
Would love to see Diablo 3 Tyrael's Sword El"Druin
This would be awesome.
Make Brisingr from Eragon please.
Hedrix | Hardware I feel like they never will. a lot of the late half of S3 has been for ads or movies or promotion. they haven't done a free, creative sword in a while.
I don't really mind what you make as its always fantastic, it has to be a great job.
Haphestus would be proud of you guy's ! You do amazing work !
Make Robert Baratheon's warhammer, please...
There is, GRRM licensed making of official versions of weapons.
You may have even seen one of these, if you saw The Big Bang Theory sitcom.
They have a licensed version of Robert's hammer, which they have sold out of.
Favorite part: video - gentle, delicate carving of details on the pommel. music - INTENSE GUITAR RIFFING OH YEAAAH.
Also, when dude was like, "And Wonder Woman will have her God--" for a split second I thought he was going to say "--damned sword!" and I was like, "whoa, sir, a little intense there." But then he was like, "--Killer Sword." and I was like, "oh, yeah, that makes more sense." Lovely work!!
poetdrowned
Lol, oh there were outtakes.
*Ferenc
Great Episode!! I don't know if you guys are old enough to remember a movie called the Sword and the Sorcerer from way back in the 80's. The Tri-Bladed Sword or the hero's gauntlet would be cool to see being made by you.
10:09 Very beautiful working tools made by himself
My man didn’t have to flex his badass hammer on us that hard
brisingr from Eragon.
17:27 I thought he was gonna say "goddamn sword"
Awesome work guys. ❤️
The creating process was so peaceful. I wanna be a blacksmith and carpenter now
Shovel knight's shovel blade
Shovel Blade ftw!
Reagle Eagle FOR SHOVELRY!!
it would be amazing
Another sword, meeh ! When are you doing the Shovel Knight's Shovel ?
+1000
Brisingr!!!!!!!...... or maybe Za'roc
Beautiful work, Wonderful ;]
Did she just cut it straight into slices? WOW.
Nathaniel Moon's Five-Ring Chinese Broadsword from into the Badlands
Maybe Corvo's sword (Dishonored) next time?
Agree
Please do this
davgra1993 yes
davgra1993 same, but as nice as that would be, they would go the same route as gamora's sword.
davgra1993 yes puh-lease!
Ferenc is such a jewel I mf love him “homogeneous, that’s a good wurd fo’that”
sailor saturn silence glaive,Beautiful work bringing fantasy weapons to reality

Anurag Garg aw man that would be really dope
I agree

yeah!they should totally make that!
Bruh you so rightttt
Hi Guys...
Tis pretty challenging request but...
Can you Guys make the "Mace of Molagbal" from the Skyrim Game???
I've seen you guys made Daedric and other Skyrim Weapons such as the Dawn Breaker...
So i was hoping...
Corvo's sword from Dishonored please!
Do brisingr! I have no idea what that is but everyone else is saying it!
Read Eragon!!!!!
Great fantasy book
Avoid the movie at all costs
It's a terrible fantasy book.
It's an amazing book series man.
It's at worst a cheap, badly written plagiarization of Tolkien. At best, a retelling of star wars only lightsabers are fire sword (they are even blue and red) and x-wings are dragons. I was written by a kid and it shows. cliche tripe.
That build was sick! Can you guys make Mehrunes Razor from Skyrim?
they seriously need to make it
I'm pretty sure they already did
Nah dude they didn't
Jamie Moelker oh right, it was some other CZcams channel, they did it well tho
I love wonder woman's shield in the last episode! I was wondering if you guys could make captain America's shield or Thor's hammer or ax
Holy crap, the details. Superb. In the future you should definitely make Garmr from Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice
Make Dawnbreaker from Skyrim!
Orion I second this!
or nightingale blade
Blackbeards sword from Pirates of the Caribbean
yes
Lovely work
amazing sword, exept for the round handle
Brisingr from Eragon make it happen
AVIAN GAMER the book version tho
there is no movie version lol, they stopped at the 1st because they knew they sucked and Brisingr was forged in... well, brinsingr. the book.
"Virtuous Contract" from Nier Automata
Just found this series and completely in love. Can you guys make Anglachel from Children of Hurin or a Yatagan please?
You guys are more than awesome!!!!!!!
That blade is beautiful!!!! amazing work on all y'all who spent so much time making it!
Weiss's Myrtenaster please..
yes we need it..
More RWBY please!!!
윤유자 no
Or Pyrrha's sword/spear and shield
Xingrui Shen oh you mean milo and akouo
I've just now noticed the hammer Ilya uses. It's absolutely stunning O.O
00:46 you're absolutely right!
What will happen to that sword now?
Is there a Man-At-Arms store? Auctioned off for a charity?
man-at-auction
I think they're on display at their shop. IIRC, the original Man At Arms series said they can't sell the replicas they make because of copyright laws so they put them on display instead.
Please do Prince Nuada's spear from Hellboy II
There are some frickin' AWESOME swords in the Warcraft film! You should check them out and see if they might make a good build!
Can you make green Arrows bow
You are right
I am with you
It's a blacksmith shop. Not a woodworking or bow shop. Tell me, what part of the bow do they forge? The strings? Lmao
Brisingr from the Inheritance Cycle PLZZZZZZ. Or potentially all the Dragon Rider swords xD
Jordan Cowled-McDowall but there is no official image of a brisingr , how will they make the sword from text?
Its heavily described in the book, plus its not a very unique looking weapon. Only real special things are the blue blade and the gem in the pommel.
Yea and why would they make it when they have other options that are far easier as they have an image and work with
Yeah i understand that there is no real artwork or any visual aid to go off, but i would still like to see how they create a blade from a book with only little information and their skills. I know its an unreasonable request but it was more of a way to see how they would interpret what little info there is into real life xD
watching this in the tv is so stunning. Awesome job guys love your videos 😊🖒🖒
Great job
I've done a full on recreation of this blade by hand it took 3 months and y'all did it in 2 weeks OMG y'all are skilled
wingmaster
Thanks for the kind words. Actually, we do on average of 6 episodes (builds) all simultaneously in about 8 days total. Yes, it is a blistering pace at times.
*Ferenc
Eragon's sword brisingr (the version from the book please)
How would know what a sword in a book looks like?!?
There's a very detailed explanation in the book, including the process, and the way the sword looks. Paolini did well in that respect.
👌
Aren't most of the swords on the covers of the books?
That being said, it's unlikely it'll happen because commercialism etc
Liminori S in the case of eragon the covers have dragons (except for the movie edition)
Riptide from Percy Jackson!! That would be pretty awesome!!!!!!!!!!
YESSS omg
Anne Van der Kooij
Sumarbrander would also be cool
And Sumarbrandar, Katropis, Aegis, Jason's gladius. Spoiler alert : he dies in the burning maze.
Yes
That's a really good sword. Wouldn't expect that kind of performance from a blade without distal taper and such a heavy handle.
I saw several of your videos, I love them! Could you please explain the use (purpose) of Borax on the forge?
Think it helps the 2 metals stay together during forging
Brisingr, Eragons sword from the Inheritance Cycle please.
chase anderson
Omg, yes!
P.S. Can you make Freddy Krueger's glove please. I'd love to see that
do you know what ps means?
YoozT WientjeZ Basically, it's when you want to say something you forgot to put in. Example:
"Sincerely yours, (insert name here)
P.S. Do you know where the coffee is?
YoozT WientjeZ Comes from Latin, means 'post scriptum' = 'after what was written'. People used to use it in letters, as you could not add additional messages after your main message without messing it up. So the term PS. was used.
Mona Lisa Thanks
i know that, i just found it weird you started a comment with ps
Wow that hammer that Ilya is using around the 10:00 mark is gorgeous
you guys should make the weapons used in Into The Badlands!! The butterfly shuriken is the coolest thing I've ever seen
