I didn't like this song until I listened to Wicca's band. (Tigers Claw) I thought this was some young kid trying to imitate emo music from 10 years ago. But Wicca was in the emo game for a decade. The guy can actually sing. I think he used the off key vocals for a more rugged emo effect.

First time you listen it’s whack, you listen again and it grows a tad, listen to it a bit more and just try feel what he says and understand that’s the tone his going for and you end up really enjoying it.. I had the exact same mix reactions at first, listened to absolute in doubt by them and it’s feat peep (who I fucking love rip angel) but yeah his tones off and weird just like the persona his displaying in his words like his out of it in his words and his mind

I love emo, hip hop and hearing the two genres combine. And I've been patient with Wicca, but I still don't feel it. His voice doesn't do it for me, it's too whiny. Would probably sound better in a band project but over clean hip hop production with electronic drums and 808 bass it sounds awkward af and does not feel cohesive. This shit is cringe-worthy. Sorry not sorry.
