Upper Body Workout with Bosu

  • This is a strength and stability workout, and the fundamental element we are using is: the Bosu.
    The Bosu is an implement that help us work the spine stabilizing muscles, as well as adding resistance and a different stimulus/stress to your muscles.

    I came across your videos while searching for TRX workouts and wow, you rock girl! I began weight training in 1986, it transformed my body and changed my life. Over the years I've tried just about every type of workout there is but it wasn't until I discovered Pilates in 2001 that I experienced the same type of inspiration I did with weight training. I mostly workout at home but I don't have any fancy gym equipment. I live in an apartment in the city so I use free weights, chin up bar, bands, trampoline and various gadgets I like to use in unconventional ways. What I love about your routines is the combination of intensity and simplicity. There is so much nonsense and hype in the fitness industry, phony people making millions acting as if they reinvented the wheel by taking disciplines that have been around for decades and selling them as the latest fads (Pilates and Barre come to mind!) You have great moves and cool routines, the kind that deliver results without the hype. I'm really excited I discovered your videos and look forward to trying your routines. Thanks this the most inspired I've been since discovering Pilates!

    Hola, Beka! Soy Flávia (37 años; De Rio de Janeiro - Brasil) . En abril 2014 sufri una operación de hernia de disco (L5 - S1). Después de pasar por una larga rehabilitación, regresé al gimnasio. Siempre me gustó hacer ejercicios, pero los profesores nunca me sugieren ejercícios en el bosu. Ya no siento dolor. La rehabilitación está siendo muy eficaz. Usted me podría enseñarme algunos ejercicios (fáciles/intermediarios) en el bosu, por favor? Gracias por los videos. Un super beso.

    This really was a hard work out! We tried it at the gym with my boyfriend and he liked it very much as well! Couldn't do the third round though, cause I was so exhausted (in a good way) :) muchas gracias Beka!
