He did listen. He told Yoda and Mace. They thought it was deception at first but eventually believed him, they thought it was a senator behind the curtains. They did not suspect Palpatine until it it was too late.
@ronanwaring3408 if so even though Yoda was not paying attention some of the Jedi including Yoda knew at this time he was arrogant and was easily angered in some situations. Also take into account dooku's curved lightsaber hilt was seen as an aggressive thing because the purpose of it was an advantage in lightsaber duals and Yoda had talks with obi Wan about their Padawan

Except Obi Wan did kept that in mind. The last dialogue of episode II was literally him telling Yoda and Windu that Dooku warned him about the presence of a Sith Lord, to which Yoda responded basically "Dooku turned to the Dark Side, lies and deception are his weapons now". It's kinda shot sighted for Obiwan, he could have given Dooku the benefit of the doubt then look into it a little. If he find some proof or his instinct kicks in he should have joined Dooku. May be doing so he could have also made Dooku a Good guy.
Obi-Wan was trained and conditioned by the dogma of the Jedi. He wouldn't allow his emotions to give incite, trusting his gut. The Jedi and their so-called dis-attachments is what led to their demise and Anakin's downfall.
Yep. Then grandmaster luke took those teachings threw ½ out the window and made his own order. He encouraged his jedi to form bonds with the ppl of the galaxy, to know them and help them as the jedi shouldve done. At 1 point he and a select few had studied the darkside. The theory was the force is the force no matter light or dark so to bring balance 1 should know and understand the darkside and use those powers not of anger or hate but with calm and clarity. This eventually started a few to drift from the light to the dark, and ordered that no one should use the darkside. Study is still an option to counter the effects.
