      Thanks, Joe. It's true about the stages of grief, first stage being denial. Each individual's journey through prison is a traumatic process that can be understated as such. Some people can't make it, death by murder or suicide in jail. I'm glad some people, including jurors, actually had empathy for Jacob. Of course, some people will argue this, always want the harshest punishments for people no matter what, even wrongful convictions. They fail to see things through the prisoner's eyes. Justice does not always mean punishment as Jacob's story so eloquently presents. But haters want to see it their way. Makes me sick.

      Thats the prison industry for you. They have to keep certain amount of people in prison to be profitable industry.
      Each prisoner brings 6-14k USD profit for industry.
      So the 1 year is not good if you can get 30 from 1 customer.

    • @JeffDavis-hg2to
      @JeffDavis-hg2to Před 20 dny +1

      @pepevonkek7803 State prisons are not meant to be profitable. One state institution is paying another state institution (the prison) to operate. There is no "profit". No judge is giving an excessive sentence, so the prison can be "profitable", that's just silly. It's simply one government institution paying another. It's the exact same as how a school gets paid per student.

    This is a fascinating story. Sad as well. Ruben Carter the hurricane was also a true story & fascinating. Scary what can happen in an instant.

    I’m terribly confused. So I just looked up the case. He just spent 3-4 years in prison. Which is horrible. She also was convicted. Was his brother?
    I agree. Joe you should have went to Tennessee. This is very hard to follow
    Ok. I just found Jerrod was convicted also. All 3 were released upon his overturn case.
    I’m on track now

      they were released after I lost my first trial. they were basically held hostage so they could try and get them to testify against me.

      don't feel bad for me. it's the hardships and heartache that made me who I am. I have an appreciation for everything I have that most people could never comprehend. if it wasn't for the bad, there wouldn't be any good. ❤❤❤
