    Therapy over the last year has really helped my emotional resilience to the ups and downs and working through breaking down all the societal norms that are totally not conducive to living with chronic illness - having to be positive all the time, not asking for help, counting your worth by your productivity, being a 'burden' on the health and social support systems... Also recognising all the values and traits I have that have helped me through similar dips in the past - I know now that I am resourceful, courageous, compassionate, resilient etc. 💕

      You're so right! I am happy you have found therapy helpful! I am such a huge fan of it, and constantly preach it to everyone, and going back has been so helpful. I loved how you spoke about yourself in this comment, I found it so inspiring. And of course you are right. It's hard to be a chronically ill person in this capitalist society.

    Hi Olga. I’m so sorry you’re going through this. I’m in a similar situation...feeling defeated and scared of the digression of my health. I’m having a procedure on Thursday and I hope it helps my pain. I try to remain grateful and that helps. I’m hoping to get a toy poodle as a pet to help with my loneliness and anxiety. Excited about that. Look forward to seeing your new dog in videos. Hope you start to feel better soon.

      Hello! I am so sorry you feel this way too. I hope your procedure went/goes okay and that you recover quickly and that it helps you in the long run! Oh a little poodle hehe. Please remember though, that it requires daily walks and care :) I know it's not always easy to be able to do those things with fibro (I had to nap most days after our walks since he's been here). But if you get a doggo, they will be your best friend and look after you too! (Zeus has been joined at the hip (literally) with me today cause I'm having a bad day).

    Great to hear from you your looking fabulous. Super video great chat, I think you are being a little hard on yourself we are going through a world crisis and its opened our eyes to all kinds of things it's been a really scary time plus you had months of stress before with your cough not knowing what was wrong no wonder you have had a set back 🌻 I'm sure you will soon be back to full force I think having your dog is going to be great for you they really enrich your life. Even with this set back you are still doing fantastic keep going (in between resting of course) BTW I received my beautiful custom order this morning I'm in love with the bag, do you have any of that fabric left?

    Hi Olga! I just found your channel! I have been fighting fibromyalgia now for about a year n a half. I’m sure others have recommended different meds that have worked for them, but I am on an anti seizure medication called Trokendi that is prescribed for migraines as well, and one of the side effects is weight loss instead of weight gain. So I wanted to mention that when you mentioned your trouble with your migraine meds. Also I have issues with my fibro and my breathing/chest and coughing. All my breathing tests have come back normal. But I feel like I can’t breathe when I exercise. And I start coughing as well. My rheumatologist believes that the fibro is “attacking” my lungs and making me “think” I can’t breathe, so he tells me I just need to push past it. Because..our lungs ARE a muscle. Knowing that..do I exercise? No. Have I tried to increase my daily activity? Yes. And it hurts lol so I’m still working on all that. So I feel your pain (literally). It’s like we try to take one step forward and we end up taking two or three steps back. It’s a never ending story. At the same time they diagnosed me with fibromyalgia, they also diagnosed me with a disease called sarcoidosis. It’s supposedly rare. So that’s fun too!! Yay…… I wish you luck 💕

    • @olgachronics3273
      @olgachronics3273  Před 2 lety +1

      Thank you so much for your comment! I would suggest seeing a lung specialist regardless of what your rheumatologist says if you can - fibro makes us more sensitive and prone to other conditions and makes their symptoms more bothersome. I developed alergic asthma after having fibro (from the flu) and it never shows up on tests but I have all the symptoms and have improved on an alergic asthma regimen so... My allergy/lung doctor says these things don't always show up, so I would recommend you get it checked out by a specialist any way, just to be on the safe side.
      The activity increase hurts, I know, but as a longer sufferer, I can assure you it is worth it and it does get better, you just have to keep at it and give it time.

      @@olgachronics3273 I actually do see a pulmonologist for my sarcoidosis. She is aware of my breathing issues. Just like my rheumatologist. He is familiar with sarcoidosis as well. So all my docs are in sync I guess. I am about to get a 3rd opinion on my lungs just to make sure tho. That’s next month. 💕

    I'm going through a similar situation right now; I'm gaining weight every week and I'm depressed about it. My mental health has deteriorated because I'm getting pain in my feet which makes moving more painful. I'm glad you did this video to remind me that living with fibro is a roller coaster ride. I'm glad you're doing better👍🏼

      You're not the only one who struggles with this annoying cycle. I've found having my dog here has given me the push I need to exercise every day and although ive had to nap more, I have also lost a lot of the "volume"/bloating I was experiencing. I hope you can find that thing that pushes you out of the cycle, whatever it may be. And until then, you are not alone, and you are not lesser in any way. We have all been there, and will probably be there more times during our lives. It's part of the journey. I hope you start to feel better soon - gentle hugs 🤗

      Trini Warrior please don’t listen to random comments on the internet diagnosing/prescribing treatments. Always talk to a doctor before trying stuff. I’m sure you know this already, but since people are using my channel comment section as a place to spam my viewers with made up remedies not based on real science, I’m just making sure! Hope you’re doing okay 💖
