Cold weather has made me sleepy my whole life. In the last fifteen years that has turned into me not being able to easily wake up if I get to cold. And when I wake up I feel drunk in mind and body, which is funny because I don’t drink at all. In the last ten years it has turned into my body shutting down if I am out in the cold to long. My limbs become increasingly heavy. My ability to move decreases, and my mind starts to shut down. I can loose consciousness.

I've had fibromyalgia since I was ten years old. I get tired explaining things to others so I just give up. I try to do advocacy as much as possible. I also have other chronic issues that trigger my fibro and vice versa. Chronic illness is overwhelming and honestly, I don't blame you for wanting to talk about something else. You live chronic illness 24/7, so focusing on new and happy stuff feels better. Love and light to you 💜

Been from a tropical weather in Brazil and moving to FL..I felt the same..flare ups but would rest for about 3 months or 2 without..but since I moved to TN it is often now to the point I fell my bonds freezing..never felt that before..i used to fell cold but not this freezing felling..I do believe thie weather here made it more intense..
I fell for everyone..and pray that God touch each one and brings healing spiritually and physically..I in the Messia's name I pray for it. Love to all..Keep the good faith!

I sometimes really want to die out of this situation because it is too much ..... I am really tired of having flare ups come and go come and go .... and I see nobody hears me or cares I mean the doctors and I have given up ... I can’t go there and advocate for myself you need to have someone to come with you to speak when u can’t .... I don’t know what to do

I agree that talking about chronic illness can be very “heavy”. I want to discuss tidbits about my fibro journey but I’m mentally and emotionally exhausted to live with it AND to talk about it.

It can be a lot, you're right. It depends on how you are doing too, but yes.

Hi! I have Fibromyalgia as well and in the Sonoran Desert. While we get great heat in the summer time, we don't often get drastic changes in weather here. I too do not follow the weather at all. I also can wake up in the morning and notice my pain is higher. Then it will rain later that day or it is a rare day the temperature drops dramatically. It has happened enough that I definitely see a correlation. Part of the problem we have with Fibromyalgia is research in the condition is poorly funded especially in relation to how many individuals suffer from it. When research is funded too often it is on something mind/body related. I'm really hoping this changes soon as there are too many of us suffering.

I’ve been experiencing this for years living with Fibro and migraines in southern Ontario. Here the weather can change daily, and I feel it every time.

Hi Olga I don’t blame you for not wanting to talk about chronic illness all the time , there is so much more to our lives than just that, although obviously we have to try and manage our illnesses 24/7 . I personally love your videos when your sewing or creating something and also your sense of fashion .Zeus is lovely as well. I am also interested in when you find something that helps you such as walking your dog or whatever but keep making your creative videos I love , love, love them Hope you have a good Christmas and keep well . ❤️

That makes me so happy! I think it's easy to get very in your head about these things. I will continue to make What helps me videos, but I just want to have more fun with my content right now! Thank you for being here. Happy Christmas to you too!

Hey Olga! Its ok if you want to make different content! This topic is fascinating to me and you did a great job explaining it. I have noticed that I feel my worst when it rains in the summer on very hot days and on very cold days in the fall. And like you, I know I feel different on those days before I look out the window or check the weather on my phone. I hope you're doing well 💗

You are absolutely right Olga, I too find it more difficult this last year as many people in the country as a whole are angry and many are selfish, but my local community have been great I’m glad to say. Stick with it fellow spoonie, we are all supporting each other. Like the ‘suggestive loonies’ 😂🙏

This is the worst part besides the fatigue...temperatures can wreck me....I force myself to move.....before it rains I start cleaning because sitting hurts more if that's even possible...after the storm hits I'm sleeping for 3 hours....cold just hurts so much I can have severe pain in my joints hips,spine,neck....hot weather can do it also.....weather. causes symptoms because of inflammation...putting pressure on nerves also dehydration can cause severe migraines....or tension headaches or cluster headaches....for me pain pills and there side effects cause even more added pain.so no medications att all......but i also have other damages causing arthritis, tendonitis,bursitis...impinging vertebrates on nerves, crushed vertebra......from a horse accident.... and PTSD and depression anxiety...which can throw me around on a bad weather day along with all these things...which can make getting through a day of grocery shopping almost unbearable...😔 But I want to live the best life I can....so I push myself through it...even if it means I have to take the next day or more off...on days I can have a good few days I feel very blessed and super happy.....thankful ...grateful for everyday.. ...My son calls me a weather forecaster......because I don't need the weather report...hahaha.....and yes mood issues ...I can relate.....soft hugs everybody...😔❤
