Cool reaction. The over reaching theme isn’t just to address trolls or haters but about anger or rage. How anger and rage are misplaced and are so often used for stupid or silly forces like trolling. Anger and rage are needed and can do great things if used in a productive way like raging against injustice or bringing about revolution or change. They’re saying stop saying your rage or anger and stupid things like trolling music artists or artists in general but take that rage and use it to bring about real and profound change for a better world.
Good stuff guys. If you don’t do some of their MMA performances our Outro Tear at Wembley then you’re missing some of their best.
    Good luck.

It's a philosophical or ethimological discussion about the concept of ANGER (fury/rage/agression): What is anger? What are it's consequences? Does it have any use? In summary, the song comments that: 1) anger is a valid emotion, that can be productive, and even necessary; 2) anger can be useful, it can inspire and motivate personal goals and even social change; 3) anger, as a collective emotion, can influence the actions of the masses to the point of having a crucial presence in history and historical events (good and bad, such as war, revolution, justice, genocide, etc)... In a way, it's part of human nature; 5) they criticise malicious anger, specially if it's nonesensical, unjustified or out of pure intolerance or boredom... Evil anger also is a waste of a valuable/precious emotion (this is the topic of the chorus); 5) they condemn bullying in all forms (not only via online, also in the physical world). They realise that with useless immature anger, you can even drive someone innocent to reach rock bottom or instigate self-harm.

Fantastic description and I muse on this song in the context of social media a lot. It’s such a powerful message and the watering down of the idea of “hate” and making real necessary anger less effective has really made me reflect a lot.

First, I've been watching you guys since your first BTS reaction and I really enjoy watching/listening to you guys discover the marvel that is BTS. I am just a little older than the three of you, and it was my daughter who first introduced me to BTS (she was in high school when she first became a fan, and she's now a junior in college (Go Vols!). I always liked them and I used to pay attention to/watch them when I knew they were going to be on TV so that I could record the appearance for my daughter. It was Dynamite's success that made me truly sit up and take notice "on my own terms" so to speak...and since we were in a pandemic and my daughter was away at college, I had more than enough time on my hands to fall straight down the rabbit hole and stay there. I now consider myself ARMY.
Second, I recognized the Cincinnati Bearcat behind Tom from your first BTS video. I love Cincinnati! 💓 I grew up outside of Indianapolis (Go Hoosiers!) and visited Kings Island every year for most of my childhood, but I moved to and lived in Cincinnati for six years after college (until 1995), and I still have friends there and go back and visit from time to time. Whenever I watch your reactions I crave Zip's Cafe (burgers), La Rosa's, Graeters, United Dairy Farmers, and Skyline, and I want to go to Kings Island and ride The Beast, The Racer, and Diamondback. 😊 If there were still a lot of Red Squirrel locations, I'd probably move back.
To Tom: try bumping Ugh! in the car just once. I guarantee it will hit differently. 😊 Also, with the rap line, I feel like it's almost imperative to watch an explanation video (DKDKTV has great ones) because the beauty of their rap is in the things we non-Korean speakers can't possibly understand without help from Korean-language speakers. So even if you don't watch it as a reaction (which is fine), I highly recommend that you watch an explanation video for this and any other BTS rap line songs. BTS made me a fan of rap, and I never really liked anything but a couple of Eminem songs before becoming ARMY. A big part of that is my soul-deep admiration for their storytelling, their rhyming, and the fact that RM has been known to use one word in seven different ways in ONE rap verse (in DDAENG, which I also highly recommend...it's a song released only on Sound Cloud - for free - in 2018 as a gift to ARMY for FESTA (BTS's two-week debut anniversary celebration every year)).
Lastly, is your mom watching the virtual concert this weekend, and are you guys watching with her? And, is your mom flying out to California for BTS's first live show in 2 years (Thanksgiving weekend)?

Hopefully you read the comments below of Loba Etoile and Brian Campos because I am not sure you got what the song is about. I believe your mom elevates the song not just for the quality of the rap, but for the song's philosophical discussion of the dual nature of anger, it being potentially of great value and it being capable of inflicting great destructiveness. In Ugh, BTS most centrally advocates for people to get angry so as to to improve the human condition.

N to top the rap line, Jhope wasn't much of a rapper in the beginning, he was a dancer. Though he sure can rap with his Unique voice. Awesome. Btw your honest comments are Okay. New to your channel! Totally agree about people spewing hate, hiding anonymously. I see it with just one question: Why? To live with that negativity- I’m glad I don’t live that way.
BTS has several all rap numbers, but then they also have a live performance of Ddaeng. All 7 are in it and have a performance that is utterly joyous. The vocal line was supposed to take it and then they all joined in. It’s hard to find. I think it was in their Sowoozoo concert.
