My name is Sarah. I discovered Inventora back in March, and I have been using it as my primary and only inventory system ever since. I could not find an inventory system that did exactly what Inventora does, which is a system that is built for handmade goods. Not only does it do everything you need for an Etsy business, but it also integrates with Etsy and Shopify to sync your inventory. You only ever have to update your inventory through this system, Inventora, and it will update across all of your platforms.
The creators, Dianna and Jeremy, created this system themselves when Dianna had the same issues with her home fragrance business, she couldn't find an Inventory system that did what she needed it to do, so together they created Inventora, and released it to the public in February.

How do you calculate freight charges into cost of goods?

THanks for the walkthrough! I might have missed it, but I'm trying to figure out if this works for this scenario:
I have an product that I assemble and sell, created from multiple materials. I want to track:
- how many of each material I have in stock
- how many of each finished, assembled product I have in stock
When I sell this product, say via Etsy, I want it to deduct only that finished, assembled product from my inventory.
I also want to see if I can create more of that product from the materials I have on hand.
Does/can Inventora handle that? If so, I couldn't figure it out :(

If I have a shop on etsy and woocommerce with the same product, does Inventora sync inventory stock on both stores so that if inventory goes from 5 to 4 because of sale from one store, it is automatically updated on the other?

Question about this system as I just got started with it. When you enter in cost per item under the Materials section....say you purchased something on sale. Do you enter in THAT price (your purchase price) or the normal price of the item?

I would put the sale price and put in the notes (sale: normally $__) but that’s just me!

I noticed there was an update recently actually, when you make a new purchase or add inventory, it’ll ask you exactly what you paid and if you used a discount and how much the shipping was! It’s always updating and getting better
